The Sea Cliff sits high on a bluff so the unobstructed view from your room or veranda is nice at night. The rooms have Jacuzzis but we passed in favor of a gin and tonic and the view. The rooms are clean and big but nothing special. On the value side the price seems a bit steep but there is... More

After doing quite a bit of searching for the ultimate overnight, romantic birthday getaway with a new boyfriend, I decided to stay here, and it was a great decision. Place was very clean, office staff was friendly, and we totally lucked out with gorgeous weather of upper 60's in Matvh and absolutely zero fog!! The office suggested the restaurant adjacent... Stayed here this past Saturday night...January, not peak season, and paid $166!!! And for what, you may ask? The view. That's it. That's ALL you're paying for. They've got amazing real estate. The front staff is very friendly and social. The room was clean, and I appreciate the fact that all rooms are smoke-free. Also, pretty cool that every room... More

Awesome place for relaxation and one hell of a view. You can spot Wales, relax in the tub, or even chill on the back porch and shoot the breeze with Old Fred the seagull on the rock. Get away from life and soak up the scenery.

Seacliff is a small, unpretentious motel right off route 1 and right on the ocean. Our 2nd floor room was pleasant and roomy, with a high ceiling. Our window and balcony faced the ocean, and we could hear the ocean all the time! The staff was friendly and helpful. The motel is walking distance to a few shops, including a... More

It's all about the view. Looking out onto the bay into the ocean clear skies west facing full setting sun glistening off the water. Great hospitality and close by restaurants to walk to easily . Room has nice updated bath fixtures and big jet tub. Otherwise room a bit dated and funky bed covers and pictures more suited for a... More

The front desk staff were amazing, we reached the motel after the restaurant were closed, so they gave us fruits and granola bars to make sure we were not as famished throughout the night. Every room has a oceanic view and are very spacious for what the rates are. There isn't a need for AC in the rooms since there... More

When I told friends of mine in San Francisco that I was staying the weekend in Gualala, no-one had any idea where I was talking about. It seems few people go much further north on Hwy 1 than Jenner. Gualala is remote and it takes a strong stomach to get there. Yes, I mean stomach because of all the winding... More

This is a lovely property, well-maintained, with friendly welcoming staff. I had a second story room (worth the extra cost), with a vaulted ceiling, private balcony and stunning views of the ocean. I slept to the sound of the ocean on a comfortable king-sized bed. Enjoyed evening wine, morning coffee on the deck. Definitely want to return in the spring... More

Beautiful vaulted ceilings, in room spa, fireplace, private deck, combined with a stunning view. We'll be back. So friendly too. Clean. We motorcycled over to travel the coastline. About an hour from Mendocino and only 8 miles further to Fort Bragg. If you're traveling on 2 wheels try the Stewart Point Skaggs road over to Healdsburg. A lovely twisty road... More
