The lodge is older and in need of some repair, but it was still a nice place for our family of 14 to stay. We leased the whole lodge, which gave us full privileges of the whole place, including the fire pit and deck. The kitchen was in need of a few utensils and pans (we like to cook), but... More

The hotel itself was booked, so I can't speak for those rooms, but the owners also have a number of rental properties off-site. We stayed in the Lower Guys Lodge, which was the bottom floor of a house, studio style. Wow, it was worse than many hostels I've stayed in. We paid nearly $300/night for it. Had it been about... Guide guys lodge is situated in a very private location with large wrap around patio. Within 2 miles of shopping and groceries. we were 3 families of 4 members each, but place is well equipped for at least 5 families. Lovely kitchen, spacious and well equipped. At least 45 miles from major attractions which is an hour and a half.... More

We stayed at the Guide Guys Lodge managed by the owners of Hotel Charlotte. Its a cozy home and can accommodated two dogs, 8 adults, and two children. The place is clean and relaxing. The owners are very generous and even helped us when we had transportation problems. After a morning breakfast (offered at the hotel) you can start your... More

Stayed here as a base for doing day trips to local area places and for Yosemite with a group of 7 guys. The lodge was great because it allowed our group to have a separate bed for everyone and lots of space to hang out. It's really kitchy with deer heads in the living room and even a fake deer... More

Great space! The rooms were spotless and spacious. There is plenty of space for a group --the iving room and finished basement are huge and there is also a massive wrap-around proch. The lodge itself is secluded and quiet. Overall, it was a great experience. I definitely recommend it for groups or familes. More

Stayed at the Guide Guys Lodge last weekend after hiking in Yosemite. We were thinking of camping until it started snowing and went looking for a room in the area... not many left by Saturday late afternoon. We were grateful, but not expecting too much... turned out to be a total find! We were in downstairs, a very quiet, very... More

The house was large and very cozy. It was extremely clean. The free breakfast was better than a restaurant (fluffy pancakes, fresh cooked eggs, teas and rich hot chocolates, a variety of condiments). The owners were very pleasant to us as well. I could tell that the owners really care about their guests and meeting all of their needs before... More

What a great place! It is so rare to find such a large, well-furnished, affordably priced facility in the Yosemite area, and with free breakfast included! Staff were friendly and helpful...would definitely recommend it to anyone for a nice getaway. More

We recently booked the entire Guide Guys lodge for a family reunion. It's tough to find a nice cozy place to fit 4 families with six kids 7 and under, but the Guide Guys lodge met our challenge and exceeded it. The accomodation was great and there was plenty of room for the kids to run around in and for... More
