This was a last minute booking to stay near the Yosemite National Park. The Yurt was fun and equipped with everything you might need. The nearby shop had the essentials, but we ate at a near by dinner so didn't need much other than bits and pieces for breakfast. The directions to the park were a bit sketchy and the... More

My review is of the RV park sites and facilities. THere are cabins and yurts on this property as well. We're not members but we expected more from a 1000 Trails RV 'Resort' having stayed at a few others before. This place appeared a bit run down. Restrooms were always clean but peeling paint and general appearance were downers. Roadways... More

A Disappointing stay - the worst and most expensive campsite of our entire trip. Only stayed one night and decided to move on. Soon after arrival we went to reception to purchase firewood. Long story short ... we were told by the lady there on three separate occasions that she would bring it to our pitch. (Although we were perfectly... More

First time in Yosemite. Chose this location because I have never been in a "yurt", also the proximity to Yosemite. Check-in was extremely frustrating. They had 4 people behind the desk, all just pacing around doing nothing, except 1 person who checking in the long line of people. Many people arrive earlier than the 4pm check-in, but wash to able... Pros: Close to Yosemite. Our site was Great! Clean and well maintained. The swimming area was a bonus! Cable TV in the lounge. Cons: Woman at desk was rude when I informed her the TP was gone out of the bathroom. Bathrooms were not maintained in the Non-1000 trails members bathroom. Like others posted...ditry. They allowed as many people as... More

This was the most expensive accommodation we paid for in our entire USA trip, and we had the worst customer service, and it was the dirtiest Room. When we arrived, we were told that we left the yurt a mess, we would be charged a cleaning fee because left food attracts bears. When we got to our Yurt, there was... More

Ugh, run down and depressing. Stayed here because we couldn't get a spot in Yosemite campground system, but paid too much for no amenities (no wifi, old play areas, run down mini golf and don't get me started about the lodge...ewwww.) still, good location if you are desperate to be close, but try to avoid if possible.

Stayed in a yurt while we were here. Reserved online and didn't know that some were by the river while others were not. Asked the "customer service" person at the desk about possibly switching to waterside and was shot down immediately and somewhat rudely. Once at the yurt, couldn't help but notice the state of disrepair. The deck boards were... More

We rented the yurt for 6 people. It was very spacious, beds were excellent, nice kitchen, fully equipped, air-conditioning,, in the middle of the wood, very close to the Yosemite park entrance. Look at the official pictures: what you see is what you get.

Dirty bathrooms and showers, the sign-off sheet on the wall hadn't been signed for 4 days, trash was over-flowing. The add promised "gold panning"; the river is a muddy ditch with trash flowing around. The "lounge" was furnished with sofas type the ones sitting at the curb for pick-up and the carpeting was dirty. The smell was so bad so... More
