The hostel is good. The location is near of Yosemite, but we have to drive for one hour to get there. The region of the hostel has few options. The place was nice and warm. My friends and I stay at different houses, so I have to walk in the dark to get at their place.

We stayed in this hostel when we went hiking in Yosemite. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and above all accomodating. The facilities were simple but clean, tidy and the private room we had was quite comfortable. We would recommend it for anyone passing through Groveland or planning on visiting Yosemite.

We stayed at the nearby RV park that didn't rent bikes out so we we're recommend this place. The guys in the hostel wee really helpful, friendly and the bikes we had were awesome - really good quality. Could have done with a map but apart from that would recommend them to anyone in the area!

I really wanted to love this place as it looked great online, but unfortunately I have to say it was a bit disappointing. When we arrived we were shown to a twin room with 2 single beds - even though I had sent an email and a Facebook message to the hostel specifically mentioning a double room as we are... More

After having just stayed in two pretty exceptional hostels, this one was a little less appealing, but still up to par. It also happened to be the most expensive of the three (the other two being Bridge Street Inn in Cambria and StayON Beverly in LA). That said, the place was fine for two college kids ready to take their... More

First of all you have to say, that around 100$ for a hostel is quite alot. But if you compare it to other locations in and around yosemite this is a fair deal. The rooms are nice and well maintained. Towels are provided and the kitchen was also really good and clean. The only annoying thing was the bathroom. There... More

Super friendly staff. Cozy little town. Not too far from the park. Nice and clean rooms. Great beer!!! Beautiful surroundings. Perfect little place to stay when exploring Yosemite! We would definitely stay here again!

It's not easy to rate this hostel because it has suffers from a split personality. When my friend and I arrived for our four-night stay we were told by the reception desk, slightly surprised to see us there, that clearly nobody had made a note of our reservation (made about a month before arrival) since we weren't on the system,... OSO Hostel I've been on a year long round the world trip and this has to be one of the most disappointing and expensive hostels i've stayed in in the past year. The staff were nice but I'm afraid that's it.  The place was so unbearably hot that we had the worst night sleep possible.  There was a small fan... More
