We stayed at the Yosemite Rose for two nights in mid-May. The house is large and comfortable -- very clean, not a lot of clutter of knick-knacks. We stayed in the "Mary" room, which is directly at the top of the stairs (that being said, we really weren't disturbed at all by people on the stairs, which probably had something... more

We stayed at the Yosemite Rose B&B for two nights on a winter trip to visit Yosemite. We have a two year old and the facilities worked out perfectly for him. Our room had plenty of room for the Pak N Play, a bathtub, and solid walls so other guests couldn't hear him when he had a hard time falling... more

We have just returned to the UK after touring California for several weeks. We stayed at theYosemite Rose B&B for 3 nights and found it perfect for us. Groveland in October is a fairly sleeply little town, we saw deer along the road side and heard coyote several times, very rural and rustic. The welcome to the B&B by Katherine... more

We had another wonderful stay at the Yosemite Rose. We stayed in the Katherine Room for the 2nd time and loved it. The Jacuzzi tub was a real treat after hiking in the high country of Yosemite. The rooms are comfortable and inviting each with a charm of their own. The breakfasts are varied and delicious and in all our... more

We stayed three nights of our honeymoon at the Yosemite Rose and it was absolutely fantastic. We stayed in the Katherine Suite and loved it. Katherine runs a great b&b with terrific amenities, an incredibly comfortable bed, and a great jacuzzi tub that I loved. The breakfasts on the veranda were delicious. We also spent some time taking advantage of... more

We stayed at this B&B twice, and enjoyed it so much that I sent my parents there with their friends. Great atmosphere, tasty breakfast. I think a good time was had by all, and would recommend the Yosemite Rose to any traveller. more

My boyfriend and I stay at this beautiful mansion once a year. We just got back from our second trip and enjoyed every minute of our time there. Last year he had a fever and resting in the room did just the trick. This year we had just finished hiking Half Dome and we melted into the bed. When we... more

The Yosemite Rose B&B is actually a relatively new facility based on the design of an historic Victorian home (in San Jose as I recall). The property is on a large acreage the owners used as a getaway for many years before retiring and constructing the Inn a few years back. It is convenient to Groveland, and is about 5... more

The Yosemite Rose exceeded my expectations in every way. The Victorian mansion is actually new construction with all of the amenities you would expect in a new home…great bathrooms, central heat and air conditioning…etc… The breakfasts are great and very generous….I don’t think I managed to clean my plate even once. I was able to eat breakfast at 8:30 and... more
