An average place to stay the night located just outside Yosemite National Park. It would have been just fine if the room did not contain a strange and unpleasant odour. Also a bit dated and no sign of a river..One other thing...when I booked it online it was for bed and breakfast. But when my partner and I arrived we... More

A very impersonal hotel with comfortable beds and adequate bathrooms, but no facilities on site. When we visited in late October, there was no breakfast on offer. The hotel is a long way from the nearest restaurant (at Buck Meadows - only 1 and quite expensive). The surrounding area has recently been devastated by fire, so there isn't much to... More

Be extremely careful when booking this place! They have a non-refundable HIDDEN $25 cancellation/change fee… Plus an extra $8.50 if you go through any e-service (expedia/hotles.com/orbitz, etc.). They also charge 10% more than the quoted price for a “bed tax” in their county. I spoke to the manager about the discrepancy--who was unwilling to contact the web-services they use, or... More

The only remarkable thing of this hotel is the location quite close to the Entrance of the Yosemite arriving from S. Francisco. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in a double bed room very small where it was impossible to move around. At least it was clean. Breakfast in the morning is an awful experience. We had a decent... This was quite a disappointment, to say the least. We shared a common verandah with about 5 or 6 other rooms. The communal refrigerator was directly in front of our window; the back of which, was 'the view'. The Air Conditioner was not below the window in the sleeping area (due to the placement of the refrigerator, I suspect) but... More

Having only spent a night here, and got there very late on the night we did spend there, I didn't want to be too scathing on the hotel as I feel you would need to spend a bit more time there to gauge what it is actually like. The rooms were adequate for what we needed them for, but pretty... More

Myself and four others stayed here for a night on our way to Yosemite. It is very conveniently located if you are looking to stay deeper into Yosemite afterwards (we camped at The Pines). We were due to arrive past reception hours so we were kindly informed where the key would be left and were also given detailed directions to... More

I booked this hotel because there weren't many others available through orbitz. After I booked a 2 night stay I read some reviews and they were so terrible with only 26% of people recommending the hotel that I decided not to risk it and cancel. I was upset that orbitz said there was no penalty (besides their $8.50 fee) for... More

Stayed here for one night without seeing reviews on here, can't believe we stay at the same place! We found it by change as we were passing thought, couldn't be more happy. Room was clean and spacious, the location and views are fantastic, the staff very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this place to anybody.

I stayed at the Riverside Inn with two friends on a photographic trip to Yosemite. The accommodation was adequate for our needs but further away from the National Park that we envisaged, so for early starts we had at least an hours drive to get into the park. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast again can be described... More
