My wife & I stayed here March 27th & 28th, 2015. It was our 1st time staying here. I was a little nervous because it was my wife's birthday and I didn't want to be disappointed. We were not! We loved our (Sugar Pine) cabin . We stayed here because we wanted to go hiking in Yosemite. We were only... More

We are always looking for great places to stay in Yosemite that are away from all the usual crowds and also has Wi-Fi. This is a tall order for this very popular hiking area. The Sunset Inn is a rare find about 10 minutes from the North entrance to Yosemite on Hwy 120. Our cabin (the Larkspur) was excellent; a... More

My wife and I stayed at Sunset Inn this October for the first time. We loved it! It is a terrific location being so close to the north entrance to Yosemite National Park but well off Hwy 120 so it's very quiet. We were in the Larkspur Cabin which is wonderfully cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we need... More

We stayed at Sunset Inn for 4 nights in July 2014 and we had a great time. It is a perfect starting point to explore Yosemite and at the same time it is so nice and peaceful that we were looking forward to going back and escaping the crowds in the Yosemite Valley every evening. Our boys (7 and 5)... More

We stayed at the Sunset Pine cabin for 3 nights in August 2014. We were visiting Yosemite from UK and found it on Google Maps. The cabins are really clean, cosy and well-equipped and Lauren was very welcoming. It is an ideal spot to explore Yosemite, and delightfully secluded when so much of Yosemite is so crowded. We did use... More

I agree with everybody else who has posted - these beautifully remodeled 1920s cabins are charming and have everything you need. Well, except maybe wifi - but do you really need that? We had a lovely three days - great access to Yosemite, comfortable, lovely retreat afterwards with a full kitchen. Just remember to bring all your groceries with you... More

The Sugar Pin cabin was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our six day visit. It was clean, comfortable, well decorated and even stocked with books and games. Bill and Lauren were friendly hosts and they made sure we had everything we needed. The farm-fresh eggs were greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again

Thank-you to Lauren and Bill for a wonderful stay in Sugar Pine cabin, it truly was just perfect. This was our first ever visit to Yosemite and we could not have found a better place to stay.... or more helpful hosts. The cabin was clean and cozy and had everything we could have ever wanted....and that bed, oh it was so... Thank you Lauren & Bill for the most wonderful stay at the Meadowlark Cabin. I wish I could've stayed longer! This was our first time at Sunset Inn and definitely won't be the last. The cabin was in great condition, and I loved how it felt like we were long-time friends even though we just met. My son loved your... More

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. Unlike a hotel where one gets disturbed by the noise of next door shower, we were in a very peaceful surrounding and no disturbance whatsoever. This place is within 15 minutes of Yosemite. I will stay again.
