My husband and I stayed for four nights in the Sugar Pine Cabin - our base for visiting Yosemite. The cabin is well-equipped, clean and very comfortable. It's just minutes from the entrance to Yosemite - close enough, but without the crowds and hassle of staying in the Valley. We would recommend this cabin to any couple that likes to... More

We were bowled over by Sunset Inn and in particular our gorgeous cosy 'Sugar Pine' cabin. It had all that we needed and more thanks to Lauren's stocking of essentials and then some! Under 2 miles drive direct to one of the main entrance gates to Yosemite, it was a fantastic base to head into see the many parts of... More

My wife and I stayed in the Sugar Pine cabin. We LOVED it! These were the best five days ever! Do not expect to bring your laptop, your cell phone, and watch your favorite On Demand shows. This is a place where you go to disconnect, light a fire in the wood burning stove, open all the windows and enjoy... More

We recently stayed in the 'Meadowlark' cabin at Sunset Inn and really enjoyed ourselves. We found the cabin clean, warm, and well equipped, so we were able to self cater comfortably and relax in the lovely surrounds. We were so pleased we had chosen Sunset Inn when we saw the hustle and bustle of Yosemite with RVs, and big hotel/residential... More

The Sunset cabins are a wonderful option for people seeking peace and quiet away from the crowds of Yosemite. They are only a few miles west of the park on Rte 120, and easy to access. The accommodations are quite nice with very usable kitchens. The beds are comfortable and the covered porches perfect for an evening chat. We stayed... More

Although our stay was a while back (May 2011) I have gone back many times in my mind. The location was perfect. It was very peaceful- just far enough removed, but , also convenient to the park. The weather wasn't as cooperative as we may have liked, but we didn't seem to mind. Being there was so rejuvenating! The hosts... More

We stayed in the Meadow Lark cabin for 5 nights and it was definately the highlight of our 3 week holiday. The cabin itself has a comfy double bed in the bedroom come kitchen and then another bedroom with 2 single beds, a lovely porch and a really private feel to it. The standard of cleanliness is very high and... More

We stayed in the meadow lark family cabin for 4 nights in August 2011. It is a fabulously peaceful and beautiful place with lots of rustic charm but still quite comfortable with all the main facilities you need. Lauren and Bill are very friendly and happy to help or advise about anything. It takes about 50 minutes to drive from... More

We stayed at the Sunset Inn for three nights while visiting Yosemite National Park. The Sunset Inn provided us with a relaxing retreat for tired feet after hiking in the park. The Sugar Pine Cabin was a perfect size for a couple and it was decorated to match the rustic feel of the area. Lauren was very kind and helpful... More
