We stayed at the evergreen lodge for two days in August. At the height of tourist season in Yosemite we were happy to be off the beaten path a bit and away from the hoards of people. Our cabin was cute and very clean. Plenty of information on ideas of how to explore the park and the area surrounding the... More

We really like Evergreen and both kids in particular enjoyed the pool and the recreation area. We stayed in one of the older lodges with bunk beds and possible should have done a bit more research as it wasn't too much more to get a larger, newer cabin. Having said that, it was more than adequate and is well appointed... More

We originally were set to stay at Curry Village until the hantavirus news broke out and 2 tourists died from staying there. We were able to cancel those reservations and book Evergreen Lodge one week before we arrived! I can only say I am so glad that we did change it. Our cabin was a pretty large size. We had... More

We stayed at Evergreen over Labor Day weekend and the prices for a two bedroom cabin were very high. Our family rented several cabins to be within walking distance of the Strawberry Festival (highly recommend). As others have noted, without kitchens or BBQ's, at some point you'll need to go to the restaurant which is pricey and the service is... More

This was such a revelation -- we went to Yosemite for the first time and my friend suggested Evergreen. SO happy he did -- it is excellent. Solid restaurant and a great bar. There is a new pool with a bar as well -- this was so beautifully done with a hot tub, I can't say enough. The staff is... More

I booked this with slight concern as it is just outside the park and was concerned about the distance but it was a brilliant location. The staff were really helpful and whilst the venue was busy there was no deterioration in service. We had a family two bedroom lodge and they were ideal for a family of four with two... More

There aren't a wealth of great accomodation options at Yosemite, but so far this one tops them all! You may not want to go to the park once you see this place! There are a number of cabins that look like they were built in different phases. We had a newer model with a deck, 1 bdrm and a family... More

We gathered from around the world at the John Muir House and a nearby cabin. The set-up couldn't have been more perfect. The house has three large bedrooms, two with queen beds and the third with a king bed. The cousins took over the loft. The dining room accommodated our group easily and the kitchen was large and well equipped.... More

close to Hetch Hetchy entrance, and makes for easy trips to each part of Yosemite (Wawona, the Valley and Tuolumne). New pool was fantastic and never really crowded. Food options were great. Never had any problem with front desk staff, waitstaff or housekeeping. Some of the cottages are a bit further from the pool area. You may have to walk... More

Forget camping -- stay at this absolutely amazing place away from the crowds at the main Yosemite valley. Stunning and peaceful location deep in the forest, beautiful log cabins, great food, newly opened pool and hot tub, plenty of activities scheduled throughout the day and evening (most at extra cost, some free), friendly staff who offer advice on trips and...
