We stayed for 2 nights in the John Muir House. What a beautiful, well-built and well-equipped cabin. It was nice for our group of 6. We enjoyed having fires in the outdoor fire pit. The restaurant on the property served gourmet food despite the isolated location of this lodge. They also used local greens in their salads. Nice touches. Also... More

Four of us stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin and had a lovely visit. The cabin itself was well-equipped for a weekend stay, and the location was ideal. It is not far from from the entrance of Hetch Hetchy, and an easy 45 minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite. The tavern impressively serves Hoegaarden. The only major disappointment to... More

We spent two nights in a two bedroom family cabin in late September of 2011 and had a very nice stay - I must say that the Evergreen Lodge was much more sophisticated and well done than expected after looking at pictures online - a very pleasant surprise. I could tell from looking at the menu that the lodge restaurant... More

The Evergreen Lodge is a great place! We enjoyed two nights in a vintage cabin that was clean and neat. We had everything we needed with Sirius radio, compact refrig, coffeemaker (coffee and tea supplied) games and books. The recreation lodge had several computers for keeping in touch with family members. This is just a really neat place! We enjoyed... More

We stayed at the Evergreen Lodge for 3 nights while visiting the Hetch Hetch area of Yosemite. Had a couples cabin - deck nestled right in the woods! Only a mile from the entrance - and so much less crowded than the rest of the park, we loved it! The 1st class restaurant was wonderful. We loved the s'mores they... More

We stayed in a lovely duplex cabin a short walk away from the main lodge in the East Village of Dogwood. Quiet location with a nice king-size bed. We loved our private deck with views of the woods. The restaurant at the lodge served very good food during our stay. Our best decision was to go on their full-day tour... More

Stayed there for 2 nights. We loved everything there!!! Place is perfect!Just the whole atmosphere there is perfect. Every cabin has its own balcony where you can rest with a glass of wine...) It is so quiet there...The cabin was clean and very comfortable. It is very close to Hetch Hetchy. They have restaurant and tavern- so you wont be... More

WE drove in late and it was dark. Got a bit frightened we weren't on the right road. Don't worry- you'll get there and will arrive to a lovely (albeit larger than one might expect) home-y lodge composed of restaurant, small general store and recreation lodge. Cozy cabins are where you'll sleep. They are very clean. Most were new and... More

We spent 3 nights at Evergreen Lodge in a Vintage Cabin. We knew going in that it would be a Queen bed, and this was ok. We didn't like the close proximity to the main buildings the first night--alot of road noise, but all became quiet soon, since there was no tv in the room-great!! The food is really the... More

This is a nice quiet place to stay when visiting Yosemite National Park. It is one of the closest and by far one of the friendliest outside the park. I have been going to these cabins for over 25 years and just returned from another wonderful stay. The cabins are small, clean and best of all, NO TV's or cell... More
