Trying to find lodging for a decent price at Yosemite is not so easy... We booked a 2-bedroom lodge for the four of us travelling, and it was a nice experience, but it was not especially cheap, we payed over 300 dollars for one night. Our lodge had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin... More

At first I had my doubts about going to Evergreen, as a retired couple who loves quiet, I was concerned about going to a family based lodge. I shouldn't have worried one bit. The cabins were quiet and and peaceful. Our cabin was large, clean to a fault, and well stocked, coffee, fridge, games, Sirrus radio, and hair dryer. When... More

Yosemite isn't a place people go for the food (though the bears do), so it is an unexpected pleasure when a perfectly adequate and reasonably priced camp-style lodge just outside the park, with well equipped family-style log cabins and bungalows, also serves up hearty breakfasts and excellent dinners to boot. Breakfasts at the Evergreen are almost plentiful to excess, with... More

Overall experience was good. Cabins were clean and nice. Although, since there are no kitchens in the cabins, all six of us in a two bedroom cabin had to share one sink in the bathroom. This was also used for drinking water. That made it a little rough, a nice kitchenette would have been great or even an extra faucet.... More

My family of 4 (Wife & 2 kids 12 & 14) stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August in a 2 bedroom family cabin. I had read about the Evergreen from the LA times a few years back and Sunset magazine. Both articles were consistent about going to Hetch Hetchy and rafting down the Tuolumne which is... More

We loved this place and would stay here again. The staff were helpful and really fun, the food was wonderful and they had great beer. Need I say more. I have already recommended it to some friends.

We stayed here with our two kids for 3 nights in one of the custom camping tents and we loved it! The tents are all set up in a pretty clearing in the woods, comfy foam mattresses, towels, pillows, lantern and camp chairs all provided. It was great to show up and have it all there for us. Although we... More

We loved the Evergreen Lodge. No TVs. Yay! There was WiFi and computers in the activity room if you needed to research anything for your trip. Lots of games and activities for kids. The hike to Hetch Hetchy was AMAZING. And not too difficult for my 7 year old. We even saw a mama bear and 2 cubs! The restaurant... More

The Evergreen Lodge is expensive by our standards. However, we wanted a nice place to stay that would be convenient to Hetch Hetchy. After checking many possibilities, we gulped and made our reservation at Evergreen Lodge. I must say that we were extremely pleased with our cabin, but the dining left something to be desired. Our cabin was Sierra 5... More
