This is a great little hotel just outside of the gate to Yosemite Park. I stayed here in November with my wife for a long weekend when a good friend got married on the property, and we had a great time. The layout of the property is super cute (and logical) as the buildings are in clusters, and the rooms... More

I just stayed at this facility. It had snowed the night before and the grounds were covered with snow. The crews worked to clean the paths and the roads around the facility. I was there for a wedding! It was wonderful! We stayed in the Muir House which is a 3 bedroom house with full kitchen, etc. Everything was immaculate.... More

We were delightfully surprised with a pleasant two bedroom cabin which we shared with another couple. The beds were comfortable. The living room which separated the two bedrooms was cozily furnished and gave us a great place to visit with our friends. The grounds are lovely and there is excellent focus on the needs/interests of children. This is a very... More

We stayed to Evergreen Lodge last week and our experience was not great. Rooms were just ok. Pillows on the couch had visible stains. One of the light bulbs was not working. Bathroom sink had a slow drain it filled with water even from teeth brushing. There was not central heating and fireplace is the only heating in the rooms... More

Stayed in one room cottage. Comfortable, with Queen sleeper for kids, Not inexpensive, but a great place outside of Yosemite, a few miles from one of the entrances and then 5 miles down road to get to lodge. Staff very nice, food at tavern for breakfast was good and server was awesome.

Our family of four had a magical Thanksgiving at the Evergreen Lodge. It began with Joe, the general manager personally helping guests negotiate an icy hill on Evergreen road. The lodge is nestled among towering pines and is postcard quaint, which was enhanced by a layer of snow. We hiked Yosemite on our own and with guides from the lodge.... More

What a find! Beautiful lodge with rustic yet comfortable cabins. Incredible food in the restaurant and tavern. We were blessed with snow. Staff worked hard at keeping the roads and sidewalks salted. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and took advantage of the time to play games and cards with grandchildren.

Good points; cute cosy cottage we were pleased with our vintage cabin, clean, good shower, warm and the wifi even worked in our room! Great layout in the forest miles from anywhere, amazing pool and hot spa area. Bad points; Bed was not comfortable (we stayed in so many cheap motels in California and this was the worst bed..and the... More

Nice setting to get away from it all, but we paid over $200/night (and that's off season) for a room that looked like it was furnished from the goodwill store. Lighting was poor inside. No heat in bath. Not a problem when we were there, but I would not want to stay during the cold season. King Cabin we had... More

We booked a 1 bedroom cottage for 4 nights. The cottage was bigger than I expected and well appointed. With 90* days, we frequented the pool and pool bar. Service was good, although they did close somewhat early. I expect this was because the high season was ending and there were less guests at the resort. The restaurant at the... More
