I had a very good impression of this hotel. You stay in a spacious cabin, that looks clean and cozy. There is no tv in the room (which doesn't bother me) and no telephone either (which can be an inconvenient because if you have to talk to the front desk, you're going to walk a little bit depending on where... Perfect resort for a Yosemite visit. The lodge offers plenty of activities for the kids and adventurers of all ages. Everything (pool, restaurant, rec center, etc.) is all within 2 minutes walk of any cabin. Because the lodge isn't on the valley floor, you're not dealing with huge throngs of people. I felt comfortable letting my kids run around by... More

My husband and I met family at Evergreen for 5 days over spring break. What a fabulous place to stay! The cabins were clean and comfortable and the staff was outstanding. The food in the restaurant and tavern was unusually good and the general store provided us with snacks, sandwiches, fruit, everything imaginable. The kids loved the zip line and... More

The criticism re the tvs and the wifi is misguided. What do you go to yosemite for? if you want chain style hotel treatment go somewhere else. Evergreen lodge has a genuine feel good factor - faultless service, small but comfortable and all you need rooms/shower-room. Great restaurant, run by the unflappable Douglas , with food as good as a... More

The Evergreen does a great job on all fronts. They have created a clever combination of high end lodging that feels a little like camping. The rooms are simple but appropriately appointed. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is as good as you'd find in a big city. It's a nice juxtaposition to have true fine dining in a casual,... More

What a treat to have stayed at Evergreen Lodge. We arrived around dinner after a 5 hr flight and a 3 hr drive from the airport. It was such a serene and welcoming place. Our 2 bedroom cabin was adorable, basic and very clean. Loved that there was only a radio for entertainment. The restaurant, tavern and bar were outstanding.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. This is the perfect location for seeing Yosemite. The room was basic but just what we needed. We loved the bar and the restaurant on site - great food and so much better than expected. The place was so relaxing we didn't want to leave! The... More

We go to Yosemite every 6 months to hike and bike. We have stayed at every lodge and hotel close to and within the park. This has become our new favorite due to all it offers throughout its spacious grounds and for their excellent service. The bar is great, like a small town bar and most importantly, you can just... I'm going to start with a note and give the full review later. We arrived late on a Sunday evening and headed into Yosemite early Monday morning and didn't feel housekeeping needed to freshen up the room. I left a simple note saying please refresh the coffee bar the room doesn't not need servicing today. We came back that evening... More

Spent one night at Evergreen Lodge after spending a day visiting the Yosemite Valley. It took a good 55 minutes to drive from the vista point at the end of the Hwy 41 tunnel. The road leading to the lodge is just one mile outside the park entrance on Hwy 120 and 7 miles drive further and we arrived just... More
