Comfortably warm, although small, enough hot water for a wife who loves hot showers. Essentially, no complaints about the service in the hotel or with the cleanliness of our room. Some reviewers say all rooms and I question how they know what all rooms are like unless they have found good reason to stay there often enough to have stayed... More

A little way out of the Yosemite Park but probably the best place to stay for comfort and quality. Lovely friendly helpful staff. the stay was a delight. Lisa and Mary made us very welcome and looked after us well. The area is devoid of amenities other than 'outdoor type', camping and chalets and this is a little gem.

Very nicely decorated, with a lot of nice details. friendly service ! location is good for one day visit of Yosemity. there is some traffic noise but not a big problem. comfort is 'different' from modern hotels but all is fine for a short stay.

my wife and I stayed at this hotel on 10/3/15 and we were soooo disappointed , horrible bed , noisy plumbing , the door was 3 to 4 inches to short had to put a towel to block the light . nothing like the picks on line . a 100 year old hotel that look and felt and smelt like... More

My husband and I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast type of place. The groveland hotel was so accommodating!! Our two favorites were Lesa and Mary!!! Whenever we needed a drink at the bar or food in the restaurant, they made us feel completely at home!! The room was so cute. We stayed in "just Juanita" room 14... More

pre-booked via booking.com as part of a self drive tour of west USA. Lovely quaint and charming hotel. Real oldy worldy feel. Lots of teddy bears in the rooms which were spotless if a little small. All the rooms have their own names. Its a bit like staying in a museum. Great location right next to shops and the Iron... More

Very nice hotel in Groveland. Rooms are great, with cookies to greet you. Good breakfast included. The hotel itself is about an hour away from Yosemite, so I wouldn't use it as a base for there. You'll be doing a lot of driving.

This hotel is a special place in every way. I find this hotel one of the most special gems in California. My fiancé and I stayed there for one night this past weekend and immediately fell in love with its affectious character and it's culture of guest experience. The family oriented service culture in this history rich space inspires one... More

Mary in the bar made our stop both fun and educational. We discussed the wines we were ordering in the "Red Wine Flight" of four, two-ounce pours. All wines were exceptional, and the service was friendly. We felt like we were enjoying our own home….except someone was serving us! Don't miss the wine list!

Rooms were average clean, the breakfast gave us travellers diarhea for 4 days on, the laundry ruined our underwear- not a good stay for such a renown hotel. Unfortunate really. The only plus was the staff friendliness, especially Jo-Ellen at the front desk.
