We stayed at The Groveland Hotel for 2 nights during our trip to Yosemite. Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were very quaint and comfortable. The only issue I had was that the water in the shower would start off hot then get freezing cold and then back to hot. Because it's a small town and and old building I... More

My son and I go rafting on the Tuolumne River every summer and have stayed at the hotel Charlotte across the street for several years. This hotel is by far more relaxing and hospitable. The food was good, the staff very friendly and Peggy, the owner was truly interested in how our stay was going. I even overheard her asking... More

Wife and I stayed one night on our way to Yosemite. Reception and service/wait staff are friendly/helpful. Breakfast is excellent (you order your own main course, and help self to bread/rolls/fresh squeezed OJ, etc), and included with room charge. Building is renovated; bedroom was quiet. We stayed in Room #3; room was small but clean and well appointed. Driving distance... More

Our group booked two rooms, the Iron Door and the Lola Montez. Cost is high, but all the hotels in Groveland are pricey since there really isn't much competition. The Lola Montez was nice, but seemed a little worn. The window shade was extremely worn and torn on the edge. The Iron Door really suffered from the very loud noise... More

This adorably unique hotel offered very comfortable room accommodations! We stayed only one night but wished our visit could have been longer. After hiking all day in Yosemite, it was so nice to know that we had a clean and homey place to rest afterwards. The heavy drapes were closed and the AC was turned on with it being 104... More

[The Groveland Hotel is not "average" (three "dots", or whatever they are) in an absolute sense, but only relative to its price. We hope to make this clear below.] We recently stayed at the Groveland Hotel while visiting Yosemite. Upon arrival, one of the staff/proprietors was spray painting the entrance. No big deal, but as a result it wasn't obvious... More

My friend and I went to the Vintage Day event and stayed in the Lillie Langtry suite. It was a beautiful suite, very comfortable and roomy enough to hang out in, in between events. We had a small gathering in our suite so it was nice to have the sofa area right off the porch to welcome our guests. I... More

Based on our stay and the cost we can not recommend this hotel. We booked a two night stay in the Lillie Langtry suite to use as a base for our trip to Yosemite. The cost was $269 for one night and $279 for the other. Over $600 when tax and energy charge are included. This room needs to be... More

We stayed at the Groveland Hotel for two nights on our trip to Yosemite. The room was dark and shabby; linoleum was coming up on the bathroom floor; the view was a ladder and hose outside the window. It is very overpriced. We tried dinner twice...they got it wrong both times. Food was nothing special.

Extremely over priced Shabby, dirty overpriced B&B However , the staff were very very friendly and helpful but they should be having taken us for €360 for a 1 night stay bed and breakfast Needs total refurb and deep clean Sorry... but we have just...
