We stayed only one night at the Groveland but we really enjoyed our stay. We had a delicious dinner outdoors in their charming courtyard and then flopped down into a comfortable, clean bed. Our room was on an upper floor, had direct access to the balcony and was charming. The room was a tad tiny, but had a good, strong... More

My father and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Groveland Hotel. We had the best service from Eunice, Barbara, and especially Blanca who kept the room extremely clean and tidy. This hotel is full of history and charm. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make sure our every need was met... More

Stayed the night after a whitewater rafting trip and the place is beautiful. Great dinner, outstanding staff, and authentic experience. Peggy is a great innkeeper and we enjoyed our conversation. She even arranged for our transportation back to the local airport. We will be back.

Stayed the night at this hotel before leaving on an OARS white water rafting trip. Very convenient location. There is a restaurant on premises which makes dining an easy option. YOu can then walk about 25 steps to the Iron Door Salon which was established in 1852 and is the oldest continuously operating salon in CA....and it feels like it!... More

If you are wandering Yosemite National Park and want a great sleep, dinner, rest and relaxation, then the Groveland is a spot to try. It is about an hour from the Route 120 park entrance. There is nothing else between Groveland and the Park. The hotel is busy with all sorts of travelers and families but I found my room... More

We spent three nights in the Iron Door room in July. The historic hotel makes a lovely updated B&B with AC. We made reservations 5 months in advance for our first trip to Yosemite. This is the last town before you come across Yosemite and if you like having a town facilities available and not truly roughing it then this... More

Very nice bed & breakfast hotel. The rooms were nice but very expensive. The breakfast and drinks were very good. This time of year is very busy so you need to have reservations in advance if you want to stay here. We would try this hotel again if in the area.

Beautiful clean rooms with a full breakfast you order off the menu. The hotel is gorgeous and the town is so cool. Do the walking tour of the town it's very intersting - it's a very old town. The Mexican resturant down the street is authenic and delicious. The little meat market down the road sells handmade, fresh delicious sandwiches!... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights and had a great time. Yes, Groveland is a very small town, but it has character and extremely nice folks. None nicer than the folks at the Groveland Hotel. Really neat place with a lot of Old West character. The room was fine and the bed was very comfortable, which was good... More
