If you are wandering Yosemite National Park and want a great sleep, dinner, rest and relaxation, then the Groveland is a spot to try. It is about an hour from the Route 120 park entrance. There is nothing else between Groveland and the Park. The hotel is busy with all sorts of travelers and families but I found my room... More

We spent three nights in the Iron Door room in July. The historic hotel makes a lovely updated B&B with AC. We made reservations 5 months in advance for our first trip to Yosemite. This is the last town before you come across Yosemite and if you like having a town facilities available and not truly roughing it then this... More

Very nice bed & breakfast hotel. The rooms were nice but very expensive. The breakfast and drinks were very good. This time of year is very busy so you need to have reservations in advance if you want to stay here. We would try this hotel again if in the area.

Beautiful clean rooms with a full breakfast you order off the menu. The hotel is gorgeous and the town is so cool. Do the walking tour of the town it's very intersting - it's a very old town. The Mexican resturant down the street is authenic and delicious. The little meat market down the road sells handmade, fresh delicious sandwiches!... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights and had a great time. Yes, Groveland is a very small town, but it has character and extremely nice folks. None nicer than the folks at the Groveland Hotel. Really neat place with a lot of Old West character. The room was fine and the bed was very comfortable, which was good... More

The Groveland Hotels offer you a peek at what it may have been to stay in a hotel during the boom days of the west. The rooms were small but comfortable with the modern conveniences of phones, TV's and internet. The beds were comfortable and the staff con not have been more pleasant. The restaurant offer a good morning selection... More

Our room was small, but quite comfortable, and the very best shower. All the amenities were provided including bathrobes. The historic hotel had touches that were in line with the "old ways" if you will. There was a note written and placed on the dresser letting us know if we needed anything to just let them know. Breakfast was included... More

We arrived around 6pm in Groveland after travelling all day and visiting Yosemite. We dropped into the hotel and luckily they had a room available. We landed the Sierra Nevada room which has a door straight out to the balcony. They have lovely homely touches - antique furniture, lots of pillows, teddy bears on the bed. The bed was very,... More

The room was cozy and comfortable. Next time we will select and upstairs room though because shades on the porch open from the bottom up only so had to be kept closed to keep passer byes from looking in. Downside is that we had only 2 tv stations. Since we chose to forego kereoke at the neighboring bar it left... More
