Best Western is was it is and was pretty much what we were expecting, a no frill, economical place to stay for a night. Although check-in was advertised at 3:00 like most hotels, when we arrived at 12:00 we were told we would not be able to check in until 3 but could "check back" at 1 to see if... more

Was surprised how nice the motel was for the price. Very clean rooms, with all the ammenities plus extras like sewing kits and upscale shampoos. Breakfast was included as well as cookies at check in. The spa and pool were closed for renovation, but in the pouring rain in Feb. it didn't really matter. I would highly recommend this motel... more

My son and I stayed for 3 nights, which qualified us for a mid-week discounted rate...sweet! Rooms were clean and comfortable. There's a nice breakfast every morning and from 5 - 7pm, a reception with food and beer, wine and soft drinks. Complimentary cookies at all times in the lobby and we found the staff to be so friendly and... more

The hotel itself is a nice place, a bit over priced but nice. The problem was the manager. VERY rude and arqumentive. We requested a down stairs room when we booked the room in Febuary of 2008 because my husband can not climb stairs. At the time I made the rservation I asked to speak with the manager so we... more

A very nice little Motel, if you have no expectations. We were visiting friends in the area and we just needed someplace close to stay for one night. The rooms were very clean and quiet, there's plenty of parking space and the location is very accessible. Very good value for the price. more

We stayed 3 nights at the Best Western over the Thanksgiving holiday this year. Normally, all the hotels book up a month or two in advance for this holiday but we were able to get Tues-Thurs and then on Thurs morning (thanksgiving) we called the front desk to see if we could stay another night. Lo and behold there was... more

I stayed at this hotel while I was in the area for the Nevada County Fair. I come to Grass Valley every year for the fair and have stayed at many of the hotels in the area, but this one has got to be the nicest one for the price I got. The front desk staff was very friendly and... more

We needed something last-minute so I didn't shop around for this like I usually do. It was expensive, but all other hotels were booked. The room was clean and despite the overflow, there was ample parking. There was nothing remarkable, good or bad, about this hotel. more

I stay here several times a year during business trips. I have always found the front desk staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Pets are welcome in all rooms for a $15.00 fee. The rooms are comfortable and all have a microwave and a waist-high mini fridge. During my last stay on 01 Feb 2006, the hotel was in... more

On a positive note, Very clean and comfortable rooms. Furnishings nice. Room had a frig and microwave. On the negative side, overpriced for a 2 diamond on the Highway. The highway noise was considerable and very annoying. Well I guess it was somewhat quiet around 3am but not for long. Be sure to ask room location when checking in and... more
