If you like cozy, comfortable, rustic accommodations in an ideal location for hiking and exploring, I highly recommend staying here. My 20-month-old toddler and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had a delightful time. The cabin was big enough for our needs with comfortable beds, very clean, and with shampoo, soap, towels, etc. provided.
The cabins are actually a bit bigger and brighter than they appear in the pix on the website, with 2 windows. Same with the dining lodge and rec room -- both bigger builidngs than one would think from the website pix.
The food was great, the staff extremely friendly, and the place was filled with history. The "rec hall" had games, books, puzzles, a fireplace, etc. and the "family style" dining made for an easy way to meet other folks. Also, there were comfortable chairs scattered about under the trees for lounging. I didn't go to the evening campfire so I can't comment on that.
