It's not my first choice for a campsite but it's close and convenient. There's no shower, but the bathrooms (and the campgrounds) are always clean. The maintenance crew are always making their rounds so they are easy to spot if you need anything such as wood for fire.

This campground is near Pyramid Lake. That meant lots of loud trucks with boats. Why do they have to play the music so loudly? Not everyone enjoys all those horns blowing loudly in the music. The place has little to no shade and gets windy from time to time. You can go fishing and swimming at the lake for free... More

Came on a weekend to meet up with some family, halfway between Santa Barbra and San Diego. We traveled with 6 adults and 9 children ages 16, 12, 7, 7, 5, 4, 4, 2, 1.
