Yeah, sure. Goleta badly needed a better hotel choice that Super 8 and Motel 6. And the Holiday Inn is more that a little run down. But Hampton Inn Goleta is certainly not without its glaring flaws. Before I talk about the hotel itself, let me first state that I really hate it when hotels price gouge during peak periods.... more

We were very happy with the Hampton Inn. We attended the UCSB Insight for prospective students. We were beat after walking around the campus all day. This was perfect for relaxing aftwards. The receptionist made a great dinner recommedation - Beachside. We sat in the hot tub after the dinner. This is very convenient to UCSB. I highly recommend it... more

This was the second time we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Goleta while visiting family at UCSB. The room was large and lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was fine for an included buffet kind of thing. Coffee seems to be available all day--Hooray! The pool and hot tub were beloved by my 5 yr old son as was the... more

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hampton Inn. There were many of us traveling and we booked 5 rooms for the weekend. The hotel was new and the rooms very well equipped. The desk and breakfast personnel were great. We really appreciated the lovely bedding, microwave, mini-frig, fantastic bathroom, wireless internet, complimentary breakfast & 24 hour... more

Not one of my favorite Hampton Inns. It is a newer hotel in aging area of town. We got the king studio room which I thought was a bit small. The bed was way too soft and too warm. It was the kind of bed you can't get out of. Charged me $18 for two local phone calls. On the... more

Room was a little small, but clean, breakfast good but very crowded (hotel was full of people like us there for the UCSB open house on Saturday, who all needed to be on campus at the same early time). Facility looked very new. Must drive a ways to get to good restaurants, and unfortunately, the Italian place we were recommended... more

I would agree with all the other reviews about the rooms being clean and comfortable and of a good size . The breakfast was a nice bonus and there was free internet connection. We tried the pool and although small it was perfectly adequate. Now for the disappointing bit... the noisy air conditioning . I usually sleep anywhere. anytime but... more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for one evening en route south to San Diego. It is conveniently located nearby the San Diego freeway, and the rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. Clientele for the hotel appear to be a blend of families and business, and amenities are well suited to both. The lobby, breakfast room and facilities such... more

The interior lobby ,eating area and guest rooms were very nice. Breakfast was above average. They also had an easily accessible laundry room. The only slight drawback was the location. The only good restaurant with walking distance was a small local chain. Although the food and service was excellent it was on a noisy main street .The location was the... more
