We were very happy with the Hampton Inn. We attended the UCSB Insight for prospective students. We were beat after walking around the campus all day. This was perfect for relaxing aftwards. I would agree with all the other reviews about the rooms being clean and comfortable and of a good size . The breakfast was a nice bonus and there was free internet connection.
