If you need to access the internet especially for business purposes, where acceptable speeds and connectivity are needed, this is the wrong property. Otherwise the hotel seemed fine but is a considerable distance from downtown Santa Barbara.

On our travels down the coast visiting colleges we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. We were greeted by a very nice front desk staff who suggested an excellent restaurant on the beach for our dinner. The hotel was quiet and easy to navigate. Our room was clean, new and very nice. We would stay again for sure!

Quick stay while visiting UCSB, hotel is in great location to the school . Hotel is small, but nice and standard (new) courtyard standards. Outdoor pool is small, they also have a hot tub and a putting green. Service was good, they even allow guests to borrow bikes. Only real negative I would give is they only give Platinum members... This hotel is one of the better choices in Goleta for easy access to UCSB. The rooms and the grounds are nice and comfortable, but room prices are not exactly standard Courtyard Marriott value and fluctuate greatly. Prices at luxurious Bacara during one weekend visit were actually less than this Marriott...crazy. One tiny little suggestion for management: no doubt your... More

This is a brand new hotel, and is in very good shape. The artwork throughout the entire hotel is from a local artist, and is simply amazing! There is a large fireplace in the lobby, which is nice on chilly nights. Around the poolside, there is a great gas/glass fire burner, with fluffy seats around it. It was really nice... More

Don't get me wrong, this is a decent and well staffed hotel in Goleta. Was in town for business and the proximity to my work is what sold me on this property. However, being a regular business traveler, there are not many hotels these days without some complimentary morning breakfast, or at the very least, a help yourself coffee bar.... More

This hotel is less then a year old and it shows in the cleanliness, design and amenities. The only drawback is it is under the Santa Barbara Airport flight path so expect some noise starting at 6 am and ending at 10 pm.

This hotel is very nice and clean with a very friendly and helpful staff. It is located at 401 Storke Road and is just 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and Stearn’s Wharf at the foot of State Street.. We had a nice spacious room with the courtyard just outside of the glass door. Breakfast is available for purchase, but... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night on a business. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood at Goleta, about half a mile (walking distance) from a larger mall with restaurants and shopping and 1.5 miles from the 101. The distance to the highway makes it quiet. The hotel itself appears to be very recently built and is in... More

I stayed at this property with my 2 teenage boys and was very pleased. The hotel itself feels very new, is well kept, and the rooms have an up-market feel with nice wooden cabinatry, granite bathroom counters, etc. It even has a putting green, bistro, pool, and bikes available for guests. Certainly more like a regular Marriott than a Courtyard.... More
