My hubby and 2 small kids stayed 2 nights for a last minute getaway from San Diego. This hotel was a last resort for us since it was offered through our Shell Vacations Timeshare. Location is good, 10 miles away from Hollywood. Griffith Park is a 5-10 min drive. There is not much else to appreciate about this hotel. Rooms... more

Ok location. Convienant to DT glendale, close to Burbank, and NoHo. No prolems checking in. Room was adequate for a no frills hotel. We stayed two nights. Parking was free and ample. Room was mostly quiet but walls are thin There was A LOT of dog (?) hair on the chair in the room--be warned. Room is good for someone... more

We found the place filthy, specially the stairwells with bags of trash accumulating day after day.Doors and lights were out of order so good luck if you return late and can't get in. Overall, very noisy and not very secure.Staff and management are unresponsive and act like they could care less.Often the front desk is abandonned or else staff congregates... more

We are members of SVC (Shell Vacation Club), but last minute change of plans made it impossible to get into a southern CA SVC site...opted to use an extended stay site in a central location. Duration : We stayed a total of 5 nights (3/16/2008 through 3/20/2008). Checkin: Acceptable... <10 minutes. Young desk gal was pleasant and corrected mix up... more

We arrived late, after an exhausting day on an author book tour. The publisher had booked this place for the convenient location, and 3-diamond rating. They asked for a non-smoking room for us. When we checked in, the only room left was a smoking room. The clerk, however, told us that it was a non-smoking room. The first bad sign... more

I chose this hotel because I was traveling with teenagers - on a rode trip - thought we could really use the Kitchen facilities - which were okay - but the "papert thin" walls made it hard not to hear our neighbors at night, and when I called the front desk to ask how to us the alarm clock because... more

We stayed one night at this hotel for a wedding we attended in Glendale. I was hesitant after reading the bad reviews, but the price and location were right so I decided to give it a try anyway. I'm glad I did. I prefer to stay in interior corridor hotels, and this was the only interior corridor hotel we could... more

Reserved on-line eight months in advance. Received confirmation #. We are a family of five and know that 75% of hotels don't like five bodies in a room. Showed up on Dec. 30th as reserved only to find that they "overbooked". Never notified and or called by my cell phone on record. They tried to put me in a "smoking... more

I'm surprised by the bad reviews, so I guess things must have taken a turn because I stayed in six motels on this business trip and this was my second favorite place. It's your standard Homestead, nothing fancy, but it was clean. The room wasn't very big, but it's all I needed. The parking is easy and the staff is... more

I've stayed at this location 3 or 4 times now and I like it! I usually book through priceline and can get a room here for $50 or $60. My rooms have always been clean and I've never had a problem. Front desk staff could be a little more friendly though, but other than that it's a pretty nice place... more
