We stayed here last weekend with another couple and really enjoyed ourselves. It's an old motel that has been upgraded (and the management is still working room by room to make it better). The room we had was nice and big and had a comfy bon ed. There was wonderful smelling wisteria hanging off the railing of the second story... More

We just got back from a 2 day stay at the Jack London Lodge. This is a very relaxing place. The flowers all around are just beautiful and a light breakfast is served in the courtyard with all the flowers and trees. The pool area is very nice and the pool was very enjoyable. The place is kept very well... More

My husband and I spent three days at the Jack London Lodge while visiting Sonoma Wine country. It was a great location to go both north toward Santa Rosa and south toward Sonoma to visit the many wonderful vineyards and tasting rooms in the area. It is just off of Hwy. 12, the main north and south route in Sonoma... More

Other reviews talk about the Jack London Lodge character and proximity to this and that. To me it was a clean and affordable place to stay. That's all I ask for. Would we return? Yes we will and look forward to exploring the area again.

The setting, along a creek, and just a half mile from the entrance to Jack London State Park, can't be beat. It's a quiet, sheltered spot without traffic noise. Formerly an old motel, the "lodge" has been updated a bit. We had a large room, very comfortable bed with two large armchairs and a table. There's an unheated, lovely kidney... More

My two nights stay at the Jack London Lodge felt less like a hotel and more personal, like I was staying with a friend. I booked my stay about a month in advance, over the phone with a Groupon, and the woman whom I dealt with couldn't have been more accommodating and easy to work with. The night of my... More

This motel offer excellent value in a high priced area. The rooms have been cosmetically cleaned up in this mid-century building. The pros are an excellent setting, - surrounded by trees, a pool and hot tub area and placement in this charming town close by multiple parks for hiking. There is a quality market across the street where you can... More

We are fortunate to live just a few hours from the wine country and especially enjoy the Sonoma area. This is our first time staying in Glen Ellen and loved it! Quaint little town with several great restaurants and markets and a saloon! We stayed two nights, mid-week, mid- April. Booked through motel website and got a rate of $104.00... More

We recently stayed for three nights at the Jack Londonge and it was a great experience. The rooms were clean, the towels fluffy, and there were complimentary sundries and coffee in the rooms. The grounds are beautiful and include a nice pool and hot tub. Excellent restaurants are within walking distance. We had an exceptional meal at the Glen Ellen... More

In a world of too many spa resorts it's nice to find this simple little place. It's clean and has a nice pool and hot tub. Walking distance to all eating establishments. No muss, no fuss. If you want high-end modern this is not the place for you. Reservations a must. They were full even on a Sunday night.
