We had a short stay in wine country and found the Jack London Lodge through Groupon. It exceeded our expectations with it's value and location. Rooms are simple with nice antique furniture fitting the Jack London theme. Pool area was nice. Gardens beautiful. A great central location for Sonoma, Napa and other wine destinations. The restaurant did not appear to... More

The manager was happy to make arrangements for late arrival. Rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. I left my purse on the patio overnight by accident and the cleaning lady found it and put it away for me. One of the nicest stays. Highly recommend.

My friend booked this hotel for our 2-night stay. It's a bare-bones motel in a good location near Jack London State Park (although the park was unexpectedly and disappointingly closed on the Tuesday we tried to visit). When I returned home, I discovered that a favorite and irreplaceable shirt was missing. I called the motel management to report that the... More

It's a basic place in a good location in the middle of the wine country. We thought it was overpriced. If it wouldn't carry the author's name, it probably would not be able to sell at that price. From that perspective, it was disappointing. People were nice and Glen Ellen is cute, the countryside spectacular.

This is a prettied-up motor lodge, and if you go with that kind of expectation you should be relatively pleased (depending on what rate you pay). The room decor was dated, but clean. The grounds are well-maintained, with lots of flowers. The Wolf House Restaurant was never open on the busy June weekend we were there. Not sure what's going... More

By far the best thing about the Jack London Lodge is the location, for a quiet spot in the Sonoma Valley Glen Ellen is a excellent choice. The Lodge is next to the creek, downhill from Jack London State Park, and across the street from a small grocery store. Pool area next to the creek looks nice if small and... More

This is a decent place to stay in wine country. The place is an old motel but the beds and location are fantastic. Both my wife and love the super comfortable bed. The room had nice furniture and a decent TV with many channels. The carpet was the only thing I didn’t like. But the location is great as it... More

Go there - if you have the chance to do so - during the week for really good deals. On the weekends prices rise significantly. For weekdays this is a hidden gem at very good rates. This is my second time I stayed at this motel (first time in 2012) and I choose to come back because it is a... More

A lovely motel-like inn with stylish decor and extremely comfortable bed. The grounds are beautifully kept (a guest was taking photos of the roses at the entrance as we arrived). Very handy to several nearby vineyards. Stayed only one night and wished we had time to see the State Park. Definitely recommend.

Spent two nights in the Warm Springs Cottage and then two nights in the hotel after our family weekend had ended. The cottage was fantastic (just need non decaf coffee). Six of us stayed there very comfortably and the kitchen is well equipped. Beds were comfortable and a great layout. The Lodge for it price point is very nice with... More
