These are cute cottages behind a $$$ restaurant. We arrived in the evening, so I did not really get to experience as much as I would have liked. The rooms were clean, nicely appointed and had a comfy bed. The restaurant was pricier than we wanted for this late evening meal. Breakfast was in a basket in the room. Fresh... More

Absolutely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our cottage. Lovely fireplace with a sitting area. A four poster bed and a big bathroom with a steam shower. Wonderful basket full of fruit and goodies to munch on upon arrival or to save for breakfast in the morning.... More

We stayed in room 6. The cottage was clean, but things like the fireplace not working, and the spa sounding like you had your head out the window of a freight train were a bit disappointing. When we got back from our second day of touring the maids had even left the front windows open so that anyone could have... More

We spent two nights in Cottage #1 and loved it. The room was very clean and well decorated; it even had a nice jacuzzi tub (which we didn't use...California is in a drought!). The basket of fruit and homemade baked goodies was a nice touch. We enjoyed sipping our coffee and eating the scones out on the communal porch area... More

We came to the Inn for a night on our 2-week honeymoon. We wanted to stay one more night in the Sonoma vicinity and figured we'd check out the Glen Ellen area. We stayed in cottage #2 on a Friday and paid $239 a discounted rate. We had read good reviews on the Inn and were excited to stay.  The... More

I never want to leave this place....whether for lunch/dinner or staying in one of the cottages. Perfect place to spend a couple days, ditch the car and explore the charming town of Glen Ellen. Rooms are darling, and nicely appointed. This is NOT a high-end spa experience like so many of the other options for lodging, but a fantastic alternative.... More

We stayed in Cottage #5 at the Secret Cottages in Glen Ellen for a long weekend. We really liked the location of the Secret Cottages – roughly equidistant to Sonoma, Napa, and Santa Rosa. Our cottage was in a perfect location, overlooking the creek. The room itself was nicely done – with a giant Jacuzzi, gas fireplace, and bistro table... More

We were visiting family who recommended this inn during our stay in Glen Ellen. Wow! I did not expect the fireplace, tiled floors, large spacious room, ultra comfortable bed with quality linens, large bathroom and an in-room Jacuzzi tub. All at a very reasonable rate. Only wish we could have stayed an extra night to enjoy dinner in the restaurant... More

We stayed in cottage 2 and it was beautiful!! big King sized bed with 4 posts(wood). There was an area with a cute table and chairs, with a fresh bowl of fruits cookies and scones. A beautiful mini bar but you had to pay for some some things. It is to be expected. There was a nice Jacuzzi bath and... More

I stayed at Glen Ellen on my birthday trip with my husband. It was a very memorable staycation. We got the Cottage #5 with a window overlooking the creek. It was very peaceful... I wish we stayed longer. Will stay again soon!
