Awesome value considering where the hotel is located. From accommodating our late check in, to getting us reservations at the INCREDIBLE Glen Ellen Star restaurant down the street, we were amazed at how personable and restful our stay here was. Excited to return someday.

To say that we enjoyed our stay at the Olea would be an understatement. Everything was perfect. We spent 2 nights at the Olea and it just simply wasn't enough. We didn't want to leave. The rooms were tastfully decorated and very clean. The complimentary snacks were a nice touch along with the bottle of bubbly to celebrate our 25th... More

Couldn't have been happier with this hotel. This place is beautiful and charming. The staff/owners were warm and helpful. Kent was great and suggested various wineries and tasting houses that were great. The rooms are not huge but who needs a huge room when you are out all day touring wine country. The best thing about our stay was the... More

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Olea Hotel in Glen Ellen. The people were charming, the beds were soooo comfortable and the room was attractive, immaculate and tasteful. Our bathroom had a WONDERFUL shower, radiant heat in the floors and a generous double sink with nice toiletries. Perhaps the best thing about this little hotel was the warm welcome... More

Ok first I want to start out with saying that Olea is a charming place, very clean, uber friendly staff (Kent your awesome). Rooms were a bit smaller than I expected, however the bathroom was pretty big. Nice touch heated flooring in there. Very peaceful area, very very very small town. I don't have much to complain about but this......... More

My wife and I were torn about what kind of review to write - because we want to keep this place all to ourselves! The service - Julie, Kent and Gretchen are exceptional hosts; greeting guests with warmth and genuine hospitality morning, noon and night. The food - Breakfasts beyond compare. Gourmet yogurt, fresh baking (small bites), fresh fruit, and... More

Stayed four days and enjoyed not only the newly renovated rooms, heated bathroom floors but the outside spaces to sit and read and enjoyed meeting other guest. Kent Julie and Gretchen were all helpful with planning our daily activities. Breakfasts were innovative and filling. Noise level is a issue but is overlooked with all the positives of this property.

This is a fantastic little place and I would definitely return! Kent was amazing and incredibly helpful. He couldn't have been more professional, and he truly made us feel right at home! Gretchen and Kent's suggestion to go to the Glen Ellen Star was right on and a favorite experience while we were in the area! The only reason I... More

Celebrated our 25 anniversary with a complimentary bottle of bubbly-thank you!... this is a beautiful landscaped property. We stayed in the secluded upper cottage....loved the well decorated room/patio and the heated bathroom floors. Enjoyed the delicious daily breakfast. Gretchen and Julie were wonderful in suggesting wineries to visit and provided excellent assistance with dinner reservations. Even provided reservations to a... More

Great place, amazing rooms and service and a very relaxing atmosphere. Stayed here in October 2014 and have to say it that Sonoma wine country and GlenEllen were our favourite places on a 10 day trip through N-California. The staff really know the area and planned several fantastic days for us. A big thank you to Kent and Julie. Definitely... More
