I don't know if I can give a description of Olea that sums it up better than "Perfect" This is the first time we have traveled to the wine country, and our stay at Olea was a big contributor towards making it such a memorable experience. The property is fantastic. There are a few different communal seating areas that are... More

Olea hotel is a fantastic gem tucked into the rolling hills of Glen Ellen - a perfect base for visiting the wineries in the Sonoma Valley. We stayed Sept.'14 and being recently remodeled they have paid attention to all the details...so cute on the outside and modern luxury on the inside, this place will make your stay something really special.... one night wasn't enough! Beautiful property with clean, serene rooms and comfy beds. Delicious complementary wine and juice - and don't get me started on the amazing breakfast! Wish I could have spent a week :) thanks Olea!

We rented out the entire Olea Hotel for our wedding at Atwood Ranch. It was a perfect extension of our wedding day allowing us to stay with our family and close friends just a few minutes from the venue. We were able to use Olea's amazing patio under the beautiful oak trees for both a welcome reception and a morning... More

My husband and I stayed at the Olea Hotel on our first vacation without our children, which was also our first trip to the Sonoma area. The grounds were impeccable, and very serene. We couldn't get over how cute everything was... and clean! We enjoyed complimentary wine on the gorgeous back patio, while the staff was busy checking in other... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Olea Hotel for the first part of our honeymoon and we can't stop raving about it to our friends and family. Everything was perfect - clean, updated, gorgeous and everything the website says it will be. The staff was amazing - Kent and Julie brightened our day every morning... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while exploring Sonoma valley wine country. The atmosphere was peaceful, quiet, relaxing, everything you want for a couples getaway! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I have to mention the comfortable beds and amazing breakfast. Def a must stay in Sonoma!

This is a hidden gem in the Sonoma area! You must go. It's in a small town (Glen Ellen) and if you go, you must eat at Glen Ellen Star (super cute, hip local place!). My husband and I stayed only one night Sunday-Monday recently in August and we absolutely loved the hotel. First, it is small...only about a dozen... More

Beautifully imagined and executed, this gem of a hotel is noteworthy for its attention to detail in both its service and surroundings. In the lexicon of hospitality, operators sometimes keep track of their guests' "intent to return" and "intent to recommend". I will gladly do both.

My husband and I recently stayed four nights at the Olea Hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived until the time we left everything was perfect. Gretchen and Julie were so welcoming and helpful with providing recommendations and making reservations for restaurants and interesting places to see. The hotel grounds and rooms were clean... More
