We spent four nights at Beltane Ranch, which included our daughter's wedding and reception, both of which were held on site. The accommodations were comfortable, except for the very soft and non-supportive bed we experienced the first night. We moved to a different room for the remaining three, and the bed was comfortable. The Beltane Ranch grounds are stunningly beautiful,... more

We were thrilled with Beltane Ranch and had a really great stay. The ranch is what Sonoma County is all about - beautiful, peaceful, a little rugged, homey, and comfortable. Glen Ellen is a good location if you are traveling around Sonoma - there is plenty to see and do just in Glen Ellen alone. If you are planning to... more

My husband and I just got back from a wonderful trip to wine country and stayed for 4 nights in the cottage at Beltane Ranch. As soon as you drive up you see a beautiful southern style house that is surrounded by geourgoes gardens. When we got there no one was there and our cottage was open so we just... more

My husband and I stayed here during our drive along the California Coast. It is an absolute gem. The rooms are a bit rustic, but are very cozy. I slept very well here. The grounds are beautiful. There are tennis courts, and walking trails around the ranch. Each room also has a patio area. The breakfast served in the morning was... more

Staying at the Beltane Ranch was like taking a step back in time. That's not to say the accomadations were primitive!! But the atmospere of the place is from a different era and my wife and I loved every minute there. From the incredible sunset view from our balcony to the homecooked breakfast every morning, we didn't want to leave.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Beltane recently for a relaxing few days away from TV and internet, etc. The accommodations were above average, the views outstanding, and breakfasts amazing for a very reasonable price. The only thing I did not expect was to have to sleep with the door open (screen door in place) for any ventilation. I... more

My wife and I stayed at the Beltane Ranch for two nights on our honeymoon. It was a wonderful place to stay and I'd definitely go back again. The room was charming and large and the wrap around balcony outside the room is great. I loved waking up in the morning and having a cup of coffee on the balcony... more

We stayed at Beltane Ranch for three days in July 2008. The ranch itself is beautiful, with gorgeous views and a great, down-home feel. We instantly felt like we belonged there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and always included fresh fruit picked right from the ranch's lush and beautiful gardens. It was... more

This is a great place to relax in wine country. It is close to the wineries in Glen Elen and Kenwood and about a 20 minute drive from Sonoma Plaza. However, there are some great restaurants in Glen Ellen. Stayed for two nights and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Some of the ingredients in the dishes are from the garden.... more

Stayed at the Beltane Ranch in early May and had a great time. It's a simple but really comfortable place to stay - definitely not luxurious (it's a ranch complete with cows) but super-friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I'd take it every day over some 4-star luxury hotel with snooty staff. The ranch is nestled in a little valley with... more
