decent price for the area, especially for may, which happens to be "graduation season" for colleges. we spent $113 per nite plus tax. the bedroom furnishings were in good shape, but the rest of the hotel could use some upgrading. also, the outside staircases were not secure. while there is a locking door to the outside, the staircases have openings... Hotel staff was very helpful to our needs. Room was spacious and clean. For the most part it was quiet. Also had the Black Bear Diner next door. Have to say it was an overall good stay and experience.

Location and area did this place no justice . Looks ordinary from the outside . Reception area was nice . Several buildings , three story . What is good is that the entrances to buildings is not accessible to public , must use your room key to get in buildings , nice to keep unwanted people out . What was... More

We have stayed at this hotel before. It's not bad and probably better than many if not all in Gilroy. We will be checking on alternatives in the future. My parents live in town and are very elderly so we will be staying overnight in Gilroy more frequently than in the past. We observed smokers hanging out on their balconies.... More

We were not able to figure out how to use the remote and there was no guild to help us. The decor is rather plain. The clothes hangers are difficult to use because it is hard to remove them from the rod.

This location is not Best Western Plus quality. I heard the people in the next room (walls where paper thin). Plumbing is bad the sink stopped up in addition to the toilet. There was all kinds of particles on gym floor & i could tell no dusting had been done because of the spider webs near the tv controller. The... More

Need I say it in yet another review? These days really good wifi that doesn't disconnect or make you have a stroke trying to connect is no longer a privilege. It is the traveler's right. So in rating this I was born.Firstly the good part. If I rated it on being really nice, distinctive Best Western in a great location, with... More

We arrived in the middle of the night and left early. The hotel accommodated a late check in, were helpful and courteous and quick so that we could get a few hours of sleep. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and we slept well. The breakfast was fine and good quality.

The stay was very good overall ! Our daughter recently purchased a home in Gilroy that need a lot of TLC. I've done home remodels since the mid-seventies, and am considered very good buy friends. As its a small home my wife, and I will be staying at the Best Western at least once a month if not more.

This Best Western is a very pleasant place to stay. I like the open stairwells that give the place a feel of being in Hawaii. The climate here is lovely and if I had the time, would consider this as a nice vacation spot, though I am ever only here as a traveling teacher. I teach in a room on... More
