We stayed at the HGI in Garden Grove in August of 2009 for two nights. We stayed in the area for a visit to Disneyland. The ART transportation(which costs 4 dollars a day for an adult to ride) stopped very close to the hotel and made it easy to get to Disneyland. The hotel does charge you to park at... more

Stayed here three nights for a family trip to Disneyland. No complaints. What we expected from a "chain" hotel. Clean rooms, basic breakfast. If you are coming here, the first thing you might want to do is to reiterate to your transfer agent/cab driver/etc that you are going to HGI and not Hilton Anaheim ("Big Hilton"). We chose this hotel primarily because of its proximity to Disneyland and its advertised special "comfort sleep" system beds. Both my husband and mother-in-law have bad backs and this seemed like a huge plus (also I am pregnant and need a comfortable mattress). Trust me- they are awful!
