We were only there for a few hours to catch some sleep before powering on for the rest of the trip. Very comfortable, clean, quiet. The front desk person was so welcoming when we arrived after midnight and the breakfast, although not sumptuous, proved adequate for our early morning departure.

The BW+ chain has earned my respect for doing it right and this location did not disappoint. Good location to see the Avenue of the Giants. Rooms need to be updated. Only two plugs to plug in charger-either the bathroom or unplug the alarm. Sheets pretty worn. Walls very thin. Could hear neighbor using the bathroom.

Front desk personnel were not efficient or knowledgeable. It took 30 minutes to check in due to continuous interruptions from other guests that received wrong room or keys. We drove in from San Francisco yesterday. Best Western appears clean and the staff we have come in contact with have been friendly. Four of us came in to Garberville at 9pm and were unsure of whether or not we would get rooms or need to continue on and the wonderful front desk attendant not only did she accomodate us she suggested that we get a King suite which was not only great but it saved us a few dollars in the process.... This is a lovely, quiet hotel with the added attraction of a "wine & cheese" tasting party nightly from 5:30 to 7:30. The staff was very helpful * pleasant. The town seems to close down very early, so if you want dinner, you have to dine early.
