I think the Motel is as old as the Hills in which it is placed. Dirty, smelly, electrical sparks anytime you plug anything in, not to mention no electrical outlets in bathroom. Place is in total disrepair. Manager very crude and not willing to listen to anyone. Someone should report to the building inspector and have his C.O.O. revoked. Upon... More

Manager is really Crude, and Mean. Loves to Yell. Obviously hates the US and is in fact an Anti American. Hates Partying and Cigarettes, even owns a bar, and has the nerve to call it the Humboldt Bar, and dress it like a dance club. He's a degenerate who lives on the property 24/7/365 and does not leave or go... More

The Owner though it was ok to walk directly into our room. there were multiple times. As far as hospitality goes, i would not recommend this place. The swimming pool looks like a health hazard. Room was dirty.

We are hardy travelers, fine with the most basic and cheap accommodations. But, oh my goodness, the Lone Pine fails to meet our lowest standards. The lighting was so poor it was hard to tell if our room was clean or not. We did awaken without any apparent infection or insect infestation--surprisingly. The property is in extremely poor condition: holes... More

We arrived in the dark and hadn't had a look at the room - ,mistake! It was run down and the owner didn't seem to care about reparing the broken furniture or even renovating the room. But there was a new TV and fridge and the WIFI was for free. Nevertheless the room was not very comfortable because the bed... More

I wish I could say the motel was as nice as the owner and his wife. Bed was fine. Woke up the next morning to find a beer bottle beside one of our beds which wasn't ours. This makes me question how well the room is cleaned. The shower was very small and the shower would all of a sudden... More

Very good value. Older hotel. Very nice and helpful owner/manager. Unless you're expecting a 4 star hotel you'll be happy here. And I can't emphasize how nice and accommodating the owner was to me and my son.

We've seen quite some motels on our travels in de western US, either budgetmotels or higher ranked motels. But this one really hit rock bottom! Everything that could be messed up, was messed up. The bedlinens had undefinable stains and burnholes in them. There were even stains on the wall above the headrest. The shower was unhygienic and had no hot... More

Please do not stay here the rooms are unsanitary, uncomfortable and stinky. Sticky carpets, moldy bathrooms, broken light switches, broken curtains, no pool, old out-dated dirty everything. This room made me regret my whole vacation. I just hope I didn't contract some disease. I wouldn't stay here again if they payed me. Honest to God truth.

We were told by The Great Western Motel in the town that they also ran this place, so we thought it should be ok. However, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Dirty and insecure room. Smelt of smoke, grim, skunk (animal kind) and grease. It had not been cleaned for years. There were electric cables everywhere. The carpet was so dirty that... More
