We had just entered the room and my daughter was sleeping, I pull back the top knitted sheet and there was dried ketchup all over it. I immediately called the front desk and they came up with fresh sheets...but that makes me wonder..you know? how many times they have not washed the top knitted sheet between guests? They apologized. The... More

The first night, at 70% occupancy, it was fine. Adequate for the cost. The 2nd and 3rd nights, when full, we had no hot water for showering in the morning. After the first morning of cold, we thought it might be fixed. After the 2nd morning of cold, we checked-out, and the clerk said she would make a note of... More

I paid for a middle of the road value hotel. Got a room that was partial upgraded. Wifi worked fine but no tv in exercise room. Free breakfast but nothing to write home about. I am not excited about having stayed here and yet don't have any reason to not come back.

We stayed at hotel in Fresno on our way to San Fransisco. Hotel is nice, rooms are huge and for me personally, creeping huge!!! (Victoria building) Rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast in the morning - mediocre, some scrambled eggs, toast/bagels, cereals and milk. Nothing fancy! Staff is nice and friendly.

Another travel site had rated this is a 3 star motel. I would not recommend this for a business traveler. It is very close to Fresno State College and maybe that is why it has so many locking gates each floor has a locking the gate to get onto the floor and even to get into that building its locking... The hotel was chosen by our tour company & was responsible for a lot of black jokes about prisons & time off for good behaviour. The amount of security to get into the buildings was alarming rather than re-assuring. The rooms were quite nice once you were in them. Breakfast was a mere token, if there was any left to... More

Walking through the lobby we could see that this has once been a nice hotel but it has suffered many years of neglect. Our room was huge but that just emphasised the filthy carpet and the bleak decor. There was virtually no Internet access either. Breakfast was the worst we have had in any hotel. Cheap bread products, still in... More

This was the pit stop between Sequoia and Yosemite. Hotel was across from University of Fresno. Very dated hotel that needs renovation. It had so many locks on the courtyard areas that it managed to simultaneously make me feel safe and unsafe (why so many locks/?). It also made trips back to the car and loading/unloading a royal pain. No... More

A lot of the reviews here sum up this hotel: it's old, the breakfast is tasteless, and only half the staff is kind. I've stayed in a few hotels in Fresno, but this may have been the worst. I can't complain about the price - I got a great deal - but the fact it was allegedly more is laughable.... More

The wife and I are visiting family in San Francisco and she and I took a road trip to Yosemite. Got out of the park late and it was already dark so we drove to Fresno to find a hotel. Looked on Kayak and found this one - picture with the nice lighting looked nice, it was a 3-Star, and... More

Dear Kiffer: Thank you for providing us your inputs. All comments are valuable and give us opportunities to improve our facility and services. Our hotel was designed as an Old English Tudor structure using lots of old bricks and Oak wood on a 4-Acre parcel. We have recently purchased the hotel from receivership and have tried to renovate as much... More
