We never stayed at the americas inn before but gave it a try. The hotel is just off the hwy. The rooms were pretty large and comfortable and they had a central system which was nice as we have stayed in other hotels where the ac have been loud. The hotel has a nice garden setting around the pool and... More

We picked the locations for easy access to the freeways and on route to Yosemite. We were pleasantly surprised by the large spacious rooms with 2 queen sized beds. The front desk staff were friendly and informative . The grounds and building are well kept considering the age of the property. I will be staying here again on my way... More

Summary: The hotel is unsafe to stay in. It is in a very seedy party of town, don't be fooled by the online pictures. There was a transient with a overloaded cart hanging out in front of the reception area. The hotel has no security to speak of. Our room was broken into with a passkey. There are no cameras... More

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We didn't know the area that well but they helped us with getting around to restaurants. Rooms were large and had nicely decorated. The pool was large nice and refreshing as it was hot summer day. They served a nice continental breakfast wich kids loved with fresh waffles and bagels.... More

I stayed here just a few days ago and did not have any problems. The front desk let me check in before their official check-in time, and the room was quite large and comfortable. It has the feel of a Holiday Inn from the 1970s (there was a rotary phone in the bathroom) that was never updated, but which has... More

The rooms are large and comfortable and well equipped with fridge and coffee maker. The breakfast is excellent. However, they turn off the airconditioning between November and April. If the weather is still warm the rooms become very hot and airless. I measured 82 degrees in the room and no fans are provided. Their suggestion is to leave a window... More

Due to climate changes in the central valley we cannot control outside weather. We try our best to make you stay comfortable and have added fans into rooms. More

We were on a trip to Kings Canyon and then Yosemite park and were looking for a place to stay for one night. There are really few reasonably priced hotels near these parks. In fact there are few at any price near these parks. That pushed us out to Fresno where the number of hotels were much more numerous. I... More

Staying at the Water Tree Inn was a pleasure. Friendly staff greeted us when we arrived and the room we found was clean and spacious. We had a room next to the pool. And although many people used it (since it was 100+), we didn't hear any noise from outside. The room was well maintained, clean, cool and came with... More

Whole family (2 parents, 3 teenagers) stayed for 1 night on way to Yosemite in August 2008. Arrived at 10.00pm and left at 7.30am next day. Hotel is basic but clean. Air con works and beds are fine. Had 2 queen beds per room. Breakfast simple but adequate considering the price. Nice and easy to find, just off the motorway... More
