We arrived late (after 9: PM) but our room was ready and waiting for us. I had my 82 year old mother with me and they put us in a close lower level room. The room was very clean and well appointed with alot of the extras that Best Western supplies. The beds were very comfy and had nice linens.... more

After having stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Fortuna so many times on business, I decided to stay at the Best Western, to see how it compared. Overall, it was a good stay. The grounds are very clean as are the rooms. WIthin the rooms, the beds are incredibly small, (low in stature) almost like futons. The bathrooms are... more

We stayed only one night while traveling north. I was impressed with the size of the room, with the comfort of the beds and especially with the complimentary breakfast. We have had many complimentary breakfasts while traveling and this is one of the best. Coffee was good, the availability of whole grain bread for toast was appreciated, and the staff... more

Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies awaited our arrival in the lobby. Friendly and helpful staff. Indoor/outdoor pool was enjoyed by other guests. Sink area was a little crowded. Fridge was directly under sink and the microwave was situated on top of the bathroom counter as well. Towels were very thirsty, WiFi worked great. I would definately stay here again. more

I have never written a review like this. I can't say enough good things abut this place. Dog friendly. Clean. Like new. Quiet. Big rooms with lots of choices. Great mattresses. Nice touches in room (even great chocolates). Hot tub hot & pool 1/2 in, 1/2 out & warm. Location next to brewery/restaurants & hiking trail, easy access to 101.... more

The hotel room was immaculate, with chocolates by the bed and a bag of ritz crackers with the coffee maker, a nice touch after a long journey with a teenager! Great hotel! more

The stay was just okay. Although the room was clean, the walls were paper thin and we could hear a baby crying a little too clearly! The plumbing was howling at 11:30 pm and my older son woke up by the strange noises coming from the pipes. There must have been a local rodeo, because there were tons of people... more

We stayed at this motel during 4th of July weekend. Our itinerary included: taking in the natural beauty of the coast and redwoods, enjoying the local 4th of July festivities, and relaxing. I thought the motel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and conscientious. The breakfast was very good - eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, yogurt, fruit, cereal,... more

Clean and comfortable. Typical BW breakfast bar. Parking may be an issue if there are travelers towing boats. more
