So my daughter and her husband asked us to bring our RV and come to town and visit. So they looked up this RV park and told us it looked real good. First two days were great. The nice couple that checked us in have the skills to manage. Not the old Ugly attitude bitty that is considered manager. Today... More

Always interesting people from all over, nice gift shop and general store, good for rvs, small-scale camping, car camping, or little cabins which are my favorite. The people around are very nice. Don't hesitate to say hi to your camp neighbors or any employees they're all nice and can point you down a beautiful road, a challenging trail, or a... More

Definitely not a friendly helpful welcoming host. Gestapo/Police-like attitude. Parking in some sites difficult due to congestion from cars and trucks. Clean and pretty setting but backs up to Hwy 101 so traffic can be noisy. For these reasons will not stay here again or recommend to others.

Picked this place on a whim and how wonderful it was. Nice trees, a camping kitchen (!) clean restrooms and nice showers (both with locking doors). It was nearly full but still quiet and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with this RV park. Close to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, Avenue of the Giants and Eureka. The people are very friendly and accommodating. Very quiet at night and a nice walking trail close by. 10++++

The weather was beautiful in January and we decided to head to the California coast. Because it was rated 10/10/9 by Woodalls, we chose this one in Fortuna. Plus, Fortuna is a perfect location because it is about midway between Avenue of the Giants Redwood State Park and Eureka/Trinidad area. Beautiful spotless park right off the freeway exit (exit 687... More

We stayed at the Riverwalk RV Park for one night on our trip up the coast. We were in the tent section and found our site very well maintained. Reservation to check in, everyone was helpful and friendly. The washrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. The outdoor kitchen area was great for washing up. The location was great.... In 2012 we made rservations in july for september when we arrived we were told that we had been bumped and were put in a site too small for our rv and tow car and were told by the manager that we could leave if we did not like it. The only high lite to our trip was the assistant... More

Traveling the Pacific Coast highway from San Francisco to Oregon, we planned a night stay at Riverwalk. The property is immaculate (as said in other reviews)! The pool area and spa are quite nice. The bathrooms and showers- excellent (even though we have an RV, we used the facilities when we went to the pool). The grounds are well maintained... More

This is a large, immaculately kept (the grass is cut, the flower beds are weed free), well organised and clean RV park. There is a swimming pool and other play areas for children. Check-in was fast, easy and welcoming, our pitch was easy to find and all of the services worked other than the free wifi which was quite slow.... More
