Walked in front door to dark, cluttered hallway & viewed bedrooms w/open doors immediately off hallway to left and right. What was once probably parlor and dining room have been converted to bedrooms, so there is no common reception or parlor area - just rooms off a hall, giving the appearance of an old house converted to an apartment building.... more

Oh how we were looking forward to a weekend getaway! Our mindset was to have the sweetest time together and explore the beaches. When we arrived, the mainhouse was in total disarray! The managers had not unpacked and the kitchen looked like mine!! (I could've stayed home to look at dishes in the sink.) We were compensated with free botanical... more

Lovely place and we would definitely go back. The house is a terrific 3 story Victorian that was restored by the owner and the decor and ambience are exceptional. We stayed in the Tulip room which is on the second floor and is large and has a nice view, although to be honest there is not that much to look... more

Our room was beautiful and very comfortable but the lavish breakfast was completely missing. Advertised as being served from 8 until 9:30 we almost completely missed it by arriving at 9:10 the first morning. The second morning we were in at 8 due to having to drive several hours to catch a plane. The breakfast never arrived prior to 8:35... more

The new innkeeper has been in residence for two months and has not stretched her culinary wings as of yet. She is into organic and local --which translated into the same breakfast 3 days in a row. A very bland uninteresting, overcooked zucchini fritata. If you want to wait for coffee, the meal to come together in stages, and dislike... more

Read the fine print and beware! If you cancel your reservation with less than ten day's notice, and Weller House does not resell your room, you will be charged the full amount of the stay you booked. You will not be charged for only the first day, but for every day you booked. With wildfires raging, our destinations of Big... more

The Weller House Inn has charm- it's been lovingly restored by the owners in kitschy but sweet Victorian style and each room has a distinctive feel. We also got an excellent deal on a saturday night stay through bedandbreakfast.com. However, future guests should be aware of a few features. If you are seeking a beachy "ocean front" retreat, this is... more

This inn is a historical masterpiece as well as a warm and charming place to stay in Mendocino County. The owners have lovingly restored the mansion built by the town's banker, with an eye to detail that took our breath away. The rooms are delightfully decorated and most comfortable. Ours had an oversized tub, stained glass, antiques, a hand-made quilt,... more

Oh, how I wish my stay at the Weller House had turned out differently! I love B&B's and have stayed at many all over the world...This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had. Beware if you are booked in the Heather Room! Besides the ants and toxic smell I found upon entering my room, I had a... more

Dear traveler, “What a wonderful room! Unique space with a lot of comfort. We loved our stay and hope to come again! Many Thanks, Kimberly and Andy”. “After 25 years of marriage I wanted to make this a nice, cozy trip for my wife and I.. We enjoyed our stay and as expressed by many others, it’s amazing everything you...

I stayed at this bed and breakfast when I was in town for a wedding. It was such a sweet little place to stay. The room we stayed in was $100 at that time and was beautiful, great, great deal. It was on the ground floor and beautifully appointed. The owners were very nice and made a fantastic breakfast! They... more
