I have stayed at some horrible hotels, but this may be the worst. It may be close to the beach but everything is gross. I would rather be camping in a tent!!!! At least it would be clean. I also noticed the windows don't lock. I'm sure I will sleep real well. I don't recommend this place. Look around!!!! more

That says it all. We got a refund after being there for 30-45 minutes and then went to the Surf Motel (Down the street). The room was not clean, there was a lot of dirty smudges and cracked paint. The beds were very hard, it did not smell clean and our room keys stopped working. Also we really needed the... more

We had just driven 5 hours that seemed longer due to the windy roads on 20, and were happily greeted by Darren, who gave us a great deal on a room. The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. In the morning we enjoyed the free coffee and cereal. Also, Rhonda was really nice. I would definitely recommend... more

Ended up in the Travelodge in Fort Bragg after driving late in to the night down Highway 101 + 1. Receptionist was reasonably friendly. Rooms were cramped compared to other similar priced hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was atrocious, a few bits of bread, cereal, coffee and OJ just thrown in the corner of reception. Location was fine, not... more

For the long Thanksgiving weekend, my husband suggested an overnight trip to Fort Bragg, CA. It's the end of the month and we are on a budget, so I Pricelined for a 2-star room and got turned down. I made the mistake of changing the bid to 1-star and we got a room at the Travelodge Mariah Country for $60,... more

A crappy hotel in a lousy neighborhood. Warehouses on one side right next to HWY 1. The rooms were in poor condition and the parking was a joke. The parking lot is your only view. Screaming kids, thin walls, doors slamming all the time. It was not a fun experience on a 4th of July weekend. I would never stay... more

This place is very budget. I was seriously scared in my room, and everything felt dirty. I didn't even want to sleep in the bed because I wasn't convinced that the sheets would be clean, nor did I want to take a shower. I'd spend the extra cash to get a room at a nicer motel! The staff at the... more

Pro's: - Was one of the only hotels available on short notice on the Labor Day weekend in Fort Bragg - Comparatively inexpensive (though still not cheep). - Signs of recent renovations - lots of fresh paint, new furnishings, new carpet and new fridge / microwave inside our room. Con's: - Although renovations have begun, it will take a lot... more
