We had a great night at the Coast Inn. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfy. The owner was very accommodating and informative about the surrounding area...gave us great tips and directions on the morning we were leaving. We got a king room for a great deal. Would recommend.

I really liked this Inn. It was nice and quiet and the owner was very accommodating. Our room had a king bed which was very comfortable with nice blankets and pillows. The room was very clean as well. It is just south of Fort Bragg which I liked because then we didn't have to worry about being right in the... More

My family and I were not impressed with this hotel establishment. It felt like we had returned to the 1960's. The rooms are small, no fans in the bathroom. It was clean though. Don't see any "spa". Wouldn't recommend. Wouldn't go back. Fort Bragg in general is over priced and over rated.

this place needs a remodel... old and smelly! The owners must not want you to come back. They didn't even make up the room after the first night. We had to ask for new towels and soap Everything that needs to be plugged in was unplugged when we arrived. Restaurant was closed. (maybe that was a good thing) Internet service... More

This was my first time staying in Mendocino county; I had visited in the past, but only for a few hours. I found the Costal Inn & Spa online through a quick search and after reading a few reviews, I booked it for two nights for my visit. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The property is great-the rooms have been... More

When you look at the pictures and see how they advertise this place you believe it is a health conscious spa and hotel. I'm sorry, but the room we got "A DEAL " for at $97 per night was a dump. We ended up upgrading and having to pay an additional $50. per night to get a decent room .... More

The hostess was warm and welcoming. Lovely personal touch in every detail, from silk bedsheets to blooming flowers. Each room is decorated differently in soothing tones and hardwood floors. My favorite things were the massage chair and jacuzzzi. Very clean, comfortable, and peaceful throughout. Highly recommend this sanctuary.

For the area the cost was reasonable. Nice, spacious room with fireplace and heater. Talked to the proprietor several times, she was very friendly and helpful. Also provided alkaline, ionized water for those who want it (and understand the health benefits). I happen to be a water scientist and had some test equipment, so tested the tap water and the... We were given this two night getaway as a gift for Christmas. It was a great gift and we had been thinking it was time to return to the Mendocino area. The rooms were clean, but it is more like a motel, not a spa or B&B. Our gift included $30 towards a spa or use in the restaurant. The... More

Pictures at the website actually make it look ok...not so!!! 50's decor...but not in a cool vintage way...like a worn, flea-bag way. Might be worth $50 a night but tried charging $129!! Checked out the room then left...manger wouldn't refund...check the room out before you agree to book. Walls are paper thin...you can hear everything next door...room stinks...ancient, dated decor...worth... More
