Absolute the very best stay we have ever had, the quaint unpolished charm of this Inn in of itself is it charm, Kim was our Host and met us in the parking lot with a warm inviting smile and led us inside into the rustic turn of the century home except for the few modern appliance’s and fixture’s is almost... more

We were taking a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco when we made reservations at Rendezvous- a friend recommended the place, and the restaurant in particular. We heard it would be "the best breakfast of our lives", so our expectations for our meals were slightly inflated. We arrived late on our first night, but called ahead to let them... more

THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE ACCOMMODATIONS! Not the restaurant! Please see my review of the restaurant for my take on it, I gave it a 5/5 Someone here said "You've got a roof over your head and a clean room, but the decor is circa your grandmother's place in 1982 after someone stole all the valuables." Funny because it's... more

We have been to the Rendezvous twice now. It's homey, unfussy, and rustic. It has a sophisticated, genial and witty host, who appreciates and makes great food, but without all of the restaurant drama that one would encounter in the larger cities. This place is not meant for many of the negative reviewers on here--they clearly were expecting something that... more

Reading other reviews might cause me to wonder whether we were eating in the same place as some of the other reviewers. Ours was a truly wonderful experience more in keeping with the professional reviews and ratings and miles away from the sour reports featured here. If there is better dining in Fort Bragg we didnt find it. I had... more

The Zagot reviewer must have been high on Mendo mushrooms. Warning: This is not quality dining. (Having said that, I can report a reputable recommendation from an Andersen Valley winery owner who claims multiple fine dining experiences at Kim's hand. So it seems possible, at least in the past.) Based on reviews and recommendations, my husband and I were looking... more

This place is run-down and lacks any B&B charm. I almost don't know where to begin. The lawn on the front and side yard is just a bunch of dead weeds...in the back there is some sort of shed falling apart which I saw staff going in and out of quite frequently and I can only hope that they don't... more

We have stayed at the Rendezvous Inn three times and are looking forward to our fourth time next spring. We have stayed at other places in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area but prefer the Rendezvous. It is reasonably priced for this area and that includes a yummy filling breakfast served by Kim. As a vegetarian, it is so nice to have... more

We decided to stay and dine here based on Lonely Planet's advice (usually quite reliable) and the Zagat review of the restaurant. However, LP, though we love it, is probably not the best culinary guide, and while Zagat can be relied on in big metropolitan areas, who knows what the sample size of customer reviews for Fort Bragg is (probably... more

Smoke and fires near our home caused us to seek refuge at Rendezvous Inn. It had been nearly five years since our last visit there and we were pleased to find that Kim and Janice Badenhop still owned the Inn and were still providing a clean, comfortable and welcoming home away from home. Kim's outstanding breakfasts with hot out of... more
