Had the pleasure of again staying at the Pomo RV Park & Campground just south of Ft. Bragg, CA recently. We've stayed there many times and we always feel like we should have planned a longer stay. The place is clean, clean, clean...the bathrooms are always kept up, the grass is mowed and the graveled parking spots are immaculate with... More

I'm writing this not because I didn't get what I wanted, but because of how we were treated. When making the reservation on the phone the person was very curt, I thought “wow she doesn't need to be handling customers”. You are required to pay in full for your 3 night holiday weekend with a check calling it a “deposit”.... More

We've stayed here twice, the first time with an RV and the last time in a tent. The dry facts: The RV spaces are quite private, for the most part, except for the ones along the back fence. Our RV didn't have slide-outs, so we had plenty of room along the side, but we saw other rigs with sliders and... More

Loved how convenient the campground was to see all there was to see in Fort Bragg and Mendocino. A must is the Botanical Garden just down the street. The harbor is a great place to get fresh seafood. Will be back. We were in site 80 and loved it!

We just finished spending the last 5 days at Pomo. What a great campground. My wife and I don't think there is a bad site...well, maybe the ones near the fish cleaning station. Bathrooms were always spotless. Ofcourse, we were there during the week and there were probably a dozen more people there. Haven't been there when its been sold... More

I really enjoyed our stay at Pomo RV Park, the sites were much larger than you get in any of the California State Parks, and we had full hookups (sewer, water, and electric). The bathrooms were very well maintained and a tremendous cut above the nearby MacKerricher State Park. While the owners didn't except credit or debit cards, they readily... More

First of all I have to say that the park itself has some very nice sights. It is not just a "parking" area for your RV. But it stops there. If you need wi-fi (ie: for a job you have), make sure that the site you have receives the signal. We were in an outlying site, as we were traveling... More

This site looks far from promising on arrival. The reception is in a shack and you drive through an untidy lumber yard to get to your pitch. We had real difficulty finding our services which were hidden in the trees and covered in moss. However, the site was quiet and within easy reach of Fort Bragg. I really objected to... More

No credit cards. No refunds. No free showers. No riding bikes. No gathering wood. No free 50 amps. No, No, No. Most campground owners try to accommodate camperss, but no, no, no. Although there were plenty of spaces available, we were placed face to face in the same spot with other campers. Our doors nearly touched when opened. When we... More

We consider ourselves high-maintenance Campers now that we have a little one. We want the warm water, a little heater & a place to take a Shower. So, RV Parks is where we find ourselves these days. When we're on the Mendocino Coast? It's always Pomo for us! We love their individual, private-ish Parking coves vs. the common open-slabs thatTrailers... More
