We booked this because of the price and I know, you get what you pay for. The curtains were ratty and poorly hung. The vinyl in the bathroom was coming up at the corners. There was hair stuck to the walls in the bathroom where cleaners couldn't or didn't bother to reach. A stain on the ceiling and old TVs.... More

My husband and I were doing a west coast road trip. This was one of the pit stops to grab some snooze before moving on to the next location. We started looking at hotels kinda late so all the other options around the area were already gone. We had to settle for this one. The rooms and carpet looked so... More

We chose this motel because it was a very short walk to a beautiful cove, it had balconies that have a peek of the cove and face the canyon down to the cove, large rooms, and an unbeatable price. Yes, the place hasn't been renovated and looks a little sad from the outside, but it was clean and everything worked... More

Just Off Highway 1 few miles south of Ft bragg so you need the car to dine in town, outdated rooms but spacious with confortable beds;Wifi signal reached the terrace so it was Ok ,poor breakfast with no dedicated room so quickly overcrowded; Nice cove a few minutes away where I had a good swim( with a wetsuit ..; ) There... Vacationing in a model A. Close to beach was about the only redeeming value. Rooms left a little bit more to be desired, but for one night were ok. Close enough to Fort Bragg downtown, and any other beaches one would want to visit.

This motel needs a total makeover. Everything about it felt like something out of the long ago. However, if you can get a room with a little balcony and a view of their secluded beach, it's worthwhile for the price. You can hear the waves crashing from the room, and a very short walk brought us to a lovely small... More

As we have local family we have stayed here before. A reasonable place to stay in the Mendocino area. This will be the last time, never again! We had booked through Hotels.com. They gave us room in the building behind the office, saying this is where they place people who do not book directly with the motel. The room was... More

We stayed at the Pine beach inn back in 2012 and whilst we were content with the hotel during our stay, especially it's location, we had a shock when we received our credit card bill on returning home. We were correctly charged $87.69 for our stay on 10 July. But we were also incorrectly charged $132.09 on 5 August. This... More

I booked a room here because it is pet friendly. We looked at the room and said 'no way!' We decided not to stay. The room stunk of dog and was very dirty . However, front desk was nice enough to credit me. We simply could not stay due to the stench.

Perfect for outdoorsy families. Beach area is private and easy to reach. We'd stay again in a flash, great value, clean and comfortable. However there is no internet access in the area, and TV is very limited.
