It was our first trip to Fort Bragg and we were looking for affordable accommodations. We felt fortunate to find the Country Inn B & B. We were offered a week-day rate of $65.00 per night for our 3 night stay. Our room was the "Wine and Roses Room" in the front of the B & B. It was a... more

We stayed there for 5 days. The room was nice, the location of the Inn is great too, walking distance to the downtown and some nice resturants, 2 mins walk from the beach. The breakfast was good too. But, we noted something very odd. They have breakfast at 2 times, 8.30 and 9.15. On the breakfast table, they use cloth... more

B & B staying is all about the innkeeper. I'm not sure this one liked her job. The warm greeting was a key in an envelope by the front door. We had purchased a package of multiple events that they would arrange. First was dinner and at 5:30 the innkeeper finally showed up. Not a big deal, everything was ok,... more

We stayed here on June 22, 2009 for two nights. We were on a week long vacation for our 15th anniversary We arrived to find our key in an envelope at the door and let ourselves in . While my husband brought in some of our stuff, I read the letter in the envelope with breakfast instructions to sign in... more

We stayed in the Summertime room for 2 nights celebrating our anniversary. the location is convenient, the room was large and nice. Breakfast was wonderful both mornings. The owner (Cynthia, I think) was very pleasant and warm. She has worked hard at all the little touches that made this a great place to stay. The only negative comment we had... more

This was the first time I had ever been at a B & B. It was a very charming place. I liked the homey room and all the extra touches (fresh flowers in the room, books to read.) There were a couple of things that I didn't like: some of the towels had stains on them, the gardens were a... more

Overall I think this place is great! We stayed here because we had booked a wine tour of Anderson Valley and all the hotels/B&Bs in Mendocino were out of our budget - about $200/night. We stayed midweek for 2 nights at only $55 a night! The Inn itself was clean and accomidating. We were able to walk to some great... more

This is a rustic-looking place on the outside, and the inside is very warm and cozy. The manager adds a lot of nice touches to the decor. It was September and she had started putting out autumn colors. She also has a lovely garden in the front and back full of flowers. The breakfasts were awesome; we had huevos rancheros... more

We stayed at the Country Inn last week for 3 nights, Sept 7-10, 2008. Nine years ago, my husband & I had stayed at a three bedrooms house in Little River called "Sea Stack" . We had hardly stayed-in to enjoy the "Afar" ocean view. This time, travel with next door neighbors, I had decided to try out the Country... more

We had never stayed in a B&B and were not quite sure what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the Country Inn. The Inn is located right on Highway 1, about two blocks from the main downtown area and North Coast Brewery, where we had dinner and walked back (great beer!). We stayed in “Granny’s Attic” which had... more
