Although not a 5-star hotel, I'm giving Colombi Motel an excellent rating since it was offered than I expected. It is better than the motels like Days Inn and Motel 6. It is located in a residential area and away from Main Street which made it quieter. They've got a bunch of rules, but they were easy to abide by... More

Started out okay. We stayed in the two room with a kitchen, it was roomy and appeared well maintained. Very quiet in and around the hotel, each room has a carport next to it which is nice so you don't have a shared wall with another guest. Theres a little grassy picnic area at the end which is nice especially... More

Your complaint is very unfortunate especially when we previously discussed this matter and both of you agreed that you should have not have stowed your dirty clothes in the garbage can. Even when we could not find the clothes, you and your husband both laughed and said that was okay that you should not have put your clothes in there... More

We just stayed 4 nights at the Colombi Motel in Ft. Bragg. What a great place for us. #3 was our room - compact, very clean, good bed, small but mighty bathroom, windows that open for fresh air (very important for us), quiet (no noise from neighbors), full kitchen, our own parking space. This is our new favorite place to... More

Our 3rd 'bi-annual' Memorial Day long-weekend stay. Great folks service the place. Super clean. High-integrity management. Cheap prices. We like that its in a regular neighborhood, not on the tourist strip. Lots of space in each unit. The 'rules' that some others have complained about are really quite reasonable -- and help keep the motel in wholesome shape, Sadly, the... More

We stay at the Colombi Motel every summer. It is the cleanest place you could find. You get a kitchen, a clean bathroom and the 50's motor court feel. Plus you go across the street to their store, you can get anything you might need and the Colombi's own the laudramat next door, so you can keep your clothes clean... More

Colombi is very cute, clean and safe. It's very well kept up by the Colombi family who also own the laundromat next door and the market across the street (which serves as the office, by the way), as well as a few other places in town, I'm told. Apparently this family has been in Fort Bragg for generations, and they... More

Excellent value for the money; located about a half a mile inland in a quiet Fort Bragg neighborhood. Quaint and charming with a 50's flair; rooms are clean, comfortable, and very affordable. (If you don't want to spend a small fortune for a room, have dinner at The Wharf instead of paying for one of those pricey hotels with an... More

A few blocks from downtown; walk to downtown Fort Bragg is through a somewhat dreary looking neighborhood. Actually, Fort Bragg itself is kinda dreary compared to many other towns in Northern California. Very pleasant management. Free coffee across street in deli/convenience store. Had one of the deli sandwiches, too; pretty tasty. Quiet room with all the basics except cooking utensils... More

Loved our time here last week. We had the large room with kitchen, and it was very clean. A little unusual in that you check in at the deli on the corner and despite having a kitchen, utensils could be obtained for a further $5, which was different. But you couldn't beat the peace, quiet and comfortable bed - something... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Colombi Motel many times in the last thirty years and we've never been disappointed. Whenever we are in the Mendocino area this is our favorite place to stay. The rooms come with a kitchen and are clean and comfortable.
