The Beachcomber is great. I've stayed there many times because of it's fabulous location. The views are spectacular, especially beautiful sunsets. Easy access to the beach and love that it's right on a walking trail which leads to tidepools and other beaches. I came with my fiance and we were never bored! We didn't even have to drive anywhere to... more

I loved everything about The Beachcomber, especially the room and the views. It was amazing. The room was spotless and fresh. The staff was so friendly I didn't want to leave. The Beachcomber Management offers several discount programs like "The Beach Nuts Club" where you get discounts all over town. Love it! But sometimes it was even hard to leave... more

we picked this hotel because it accepted pets and was right on the ocean. our pet does not have fleas but we found over 5 of them on her and one right on our pillow while we were there. not clean at all! would not stay there again! more

This property is right on the dunes/cliffs just outside of Fort Bragg, right on a walking path and easy beach access. It is very clean, nicely laid out and well kept/updated - the rooms are above average for this type of motel and very comfortable. The pet agreement is mostly standard except dogs are not allowed any where on the... more

We've been staying here for years, off and on. The huge plus is, the hotel is right on the beach and adjacent to the Haul Road with its pedestrian bridge to Fort Bragg. And there is nothing beyond the Haul Road except the dunes and the ocean. If you like to walk it is exactly 1 mile to the Skunk... more

We just returned from 4 days at Ft Bragg and stayed at the Beachcomber. I liked and enjoyed the ocean view from our room and the easy and quick access to the beach, especially since we have a 2 yr old son. It was really nice not to have to load him up in the carseat and pack up our... more

We just returned from a 2 night stay at the Beachcomber, and we had a really wonderful time, however we did have a lot of info about the motel from a family member who had recently stayed as well, so we knew which type of room to book. Basically, if you are thinking about staying at the Beachcomber, you HAVE... more

We stayed in the no-deck rooms. The rooms were small and the beds were full, not queens. It was a little loud at first- particularly with the windows open- but not enough to bother sleep. The HDTVs in the rooms got analog signals (which were snowy on a few channels); that was very odd considering that this was cable-fed. Free... more

Location - location - location is why I rate this a 5. The rooms were a tad, well a lot dated, sure it's right on 101 but it wasn't so bad really. I liked that it was on edge of town rather than in town with views of stores - We specifically chose this hotel because it was the closest... more
