I got a night stay in this hotel Deluxe room because I read a review of the hotel had just refurbished. However, I was given a higher grade room because the Deluxe room are fully occupied. Without thinking further, I accepted the offer but it actually disappoint me, as the room is really old and smell. First, the sofa are... More

From my overall observation, Berjaya Group should really look into proper staff training provided to the staff, especially those serving the guests. Few significant examples are: - Staff stationed at the breakfast buffet egg counter - They should really learn how to TALK to the guest yo. Yea i mean THEY coz both staff from 2 different days acted the... More

The Colmar Tropicale being a French-themed Resort is a beautiful place to visit and relax. It is located in Berjaya Hills, Bukit Tinggi, Bentong, Pahang in Malaysia. The buildings there resemble the French structures with few restaurants serving western meals and beers/liquor. There is a free shuttle van service to transfer visitors uphill to visit the Japanese village. Take a... More

I got too much expectation to visit Colmar. I visited their website and it looked like interesting. But when I went there, it was just worth it to come only for 3 hours. I booked for departure at 10 AM from Berjaya Hills Hotel, and back from Colmar at 3 PM. I just went around until 1 PM then I... More

Hotel facilities very much limited. No public wifi and common toilets hygiene need improvement. Hotel room condition is not up to expectation, musky smell inside. I was impressed with hotel food. Had dinner and breakfast and food was good. Still prefer the nextdoor hotel, The Chateu.

The weather is moderate, nor cold, hot. Walk through the main entrance, feels good. The main walk way few restaurant along the side way. Looks high class. Anyway, just stay for awhile, took some pictures. Feels nothing special and return.

Unlike Sabah, my home state, peninsular Malaysia is lack of virgin, unpolluted rainforest and breathtaking mountains. What you lack in natural wonders, you make up with beautiful, unique resorts like this. Beautiful, very unique, it feels like I'm walking into a European village, but it's disappointing that the price is expensive. My friend have to warn us in advance that... More
