Excellent facility. By far the best hotel within 100 miles. Although not a Ritz, this facility far exceeds expectations especially given that you are in the mountains. Only negative is that there is a 40 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Hotel is at the entrance to the National Park. Facilities include outdoor and INDOOR pools. Excellent restaurant. Exercise room and... More

Went looking for lodgings enroute to Yosemite, on 1st appearance looked expensive & it was $200 a night midweek. We got this down to $119+tax & at that it was good value, food was good, a little expensive but well cooked and presented, beer was $3.50+tax & wine was $6+tax, bar & restaurant area was well decorated & comfortable with... Hotel is very big and nice, good location just South of the Yosemite Park. Welcome is very cold and commercial, no special attention to the customer. Rooms very nice but small for the price ($300 a night), I expected much more for that price. 2 different restaurants to eat, but go to the bar which has better quality/price. The restaurant... More

We stayed two nights at the Tenaya Lodge. We reserved a “deluxe” room (one step up from a “standard” room) for two nights. Including breakfast, our AAA rate was $315 per night. With taxes, etc, the room bill came to about $640. The main issue with many of these reviews is whether this hotel is worth the expense. My wife... More

I stayed on July 17 also, and my room was immaculately clean. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding with the other cabin listed below. I have little to say about this place that is not positive. The separate cabins are spread up the beautifully landscaped hillside in a loop; we shared a building with another room but still had the privacy... More

My family of five stayed at the Tenaya Lodge at the end of July while visitng Yosemite. It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Its location, just south of the park, was a bit of a (scenic) drive to the Valley floor but a breeze to Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. We arrived in the... More

We stayed at Tenaya Lodge on July 15 and 16. It is a very nice hotel. Great scenery, nice rooms, nice pool. The food was average though and not worth the expensive price. The hallways and elevators are hot. No A/C except in the rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful. The person who wrote the previous review obviously... More

After dutiful research, we booked three nights at Tenaya for my family of 4. At Yosemite, there are not a lot of hotel choices - either expensive high class properties like Tenaya or Ahwahnee, or you drop down to much less luxurious places. We were EXTREMELY happy with Tenaya. First (and in contrast to earlier post), the staff was (with... More

We recently spent two nights at this place and really enjoyed it. I have two small children and the room (sleeps 4) was a very good size, very clean with good amenity's (fridge, kettle, tv, etc). Much better with 2 kids then some of the other paces we stayed. The kids loved the pool and spa and it was only... More
