This was my second stay in this hotel. I stay here for it is a very convenient location for visiting yosemite. However the hotel is just average in comfort, and amenities. I found the staff friendly but not willing to go out of their way. The resturants on site are generally busy and you can plan on waiting. Food is... More

The property is tired and in need of a renovation. Certainly not the 4-diamond property that we were expecting. We were given a room with double beds even though we had requested a room with a king bed for our romantic getaway. When we tried to sleep, both mu husband and I felt scratchy and is if something was biting... More

Dear Guest: Thank you for taking the time to write. Tenaya Lodge has strict policies and procedures in place when it comes to bed bugs. We are vigilant when a guest suspects bed bugs. Our procedure is to have an experienced, trained individual (manager on duty) contact the guests to inform them that we have a trained team that will... More

We had a great time we stayed two nights at the lodge and it was beautiful. We were a little surprised how thin the walls were though. We stayed with a conference and stayed on a discount we felt we had gotten more than our moneys worth. The staff was excellent.

Love the outdoors but your family prefers more comfortable living? This is the perfect compromise. We are a family of 4 (two boys, 3 and 1) and definitely enjoyed our stay at Tenaya Lodge. Large hotel and not cheap but the amenities are great. Restaurants have great food, pool is heated and large (with two hot tubs to boot). It... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights here recently and were thoroughly impressed with the staff's lovely and helpful service approach. Thank you. If you are planning to visit Yosemite National Park.... Tenaya Lodge would be my recommendation for a few reasons: 1. It is just really Lodge(y), cosy & comfy accommodation (we enjoyed our stay). 2. If the roads... More

I should preface by saying that you are NOT staying in the park; it is another 50 miles away. But it’s a nice location and good jumping off point for the park visit. There were a few pluses that outweighed the minuses such as: a really nice snow play area for little ones, ice skating ring, indoor pool/spa, complementary board... More

This is a huge complex but the price is extreme. Rooms no better than any of the Best Westerns we stayed in. It is also in the middle of nowhere so you either pay their over inflated prixes for a meal or drive another 20 minutes down the curvey road and back for something else. The best thing was the... I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, I really enjoyed my stay here. All the staff were courteous, professional, and attentive. Yeah, the restaurants are over priced and the food is blah, but you know that going in, so its not a shock. We drove down to Oakhurst for dinner one night, its only a twenty minute... More

I just came back from staying at the Tenaya Lodge. I had read some mixed reviews online about the hotel. I really enjoyed the hotel and would likely stay there again. I do agree that the hotel is expensive but I feel that you are paying for the premium location and if you are looking for the convenience of being... More

Smashing place, would love to go back. Rooms were spacious, airy and clean and the views were spectacular. Swimming pool was the best one yet, with free towels. Restaurant were good value for money. Although they were very busy and when our table wasn't ready oneof the waitress's said'not my problem' and backed away!! Breakfast was an issue as we... More
