We stayed here whilst on road trip through Yosemite enroute to Vegas. The setting is great and Yosemite itself is spectacular! The hotel has lots of potential but is let down mainly by lower than average service and overpriced restaurants. Frankly the food was poor and the worst value for our entire two week vacation. We stayed in a cottage... More

the hotel was great and very close to the yosemite south entrance. it was a 20min drive to oakhurst the next town which had many restaurants and shops. The restaurants at the hotel were overpriced but the food was very good at the Sierra Lodge. The bed was very uncomfortable because it was very soft and u sunk into it.... More

Hotel was very nice. Bed was just OK. At this price point, one generally expects more comfortable beds.

I have been going to Yosemite several times a year for 20 years. I ski/snowboard in the winter and love to hang out by the river or Bass Lake in the summer. The Tenaya took over the hotel we stayed at for many years. I was skeptical at first but actually am glad they did it now. The Tenaya in... More

It must be said that the roadworks on Highway 41 made the journey to Yosemite Valley rather tedious especially when you had to be 'escorted' by an official truck which took forever! that was the only criticism that we had though. Hotel was nice, hunting lodge feel to it - each cabin was divided into three units, one upstairs, two... More

Originally scheduled to stay within Yosemite, Delaware North Reservations claimed an over booking resulted in our reservation being moved to the Tenaya under their recent acquisition and reported renovation. A cottage room was held in our name which was not particularly quiet as they are configured with three units per building - two on the ground floor and one unit... More

This was a beautiful place to stay. We walked in on a Tuesday without reservation and were offered a great rate. Janet at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. The hotel has everything you need and more.

Upon our arrival to Tenaya Lodge, we were immediately greeted by the very friendly Berl (valet/porter). At check-in we were welcomed warmly, given complementary vouchers for breakfast, and when the room we had booked wasn't ready, we were upgraded to a much better room (with an in-room jacuzzi) for no extra cost...we didn't even need to mention it was our... A few weeks ago we attended a wedding at the Tenaya lodge and had a great time! The staff and service was excellent! Our daughter got sick in the middle of the night and the staff was great at helping us out by bringing us new sheets/pillow etc within 5-10 minutes of us asking for them! Their spa is amazing!... We attended a wedding a few weeks ago at the Tenaya lodge and we were impressed with the excellent, friendly service of the staff! We have two small children and all of the staff were really great at helping us out and making sure that we had everything we needed! We also took advantage of their spa and I HIGHLY... More
