Beautiful lodge, comfortable bed, close to the south entrance to Yosemite Park! We stayed on the 3rd floor and enjoyed the fresh air from our window (even in January). The food in the Jackalope Restaurant was varied and delicious!

Usually enter by historic and most scenic Merced River road, 140, especially in Spring. But big motel at El Portal gate is way overpriced. Mariposa and Merced and Fresno are far for daily repeat trips to YNP and YV, especially TM. And 120 from West just has a few BnBs. Some scary,,, Lee Vining has the most choices. Eat fried... More

This property, two miles outside of the Yosemite Park boundary is a very nice alternative to the famous hotels of Yosemite National Park: The Ahwahnee, The Wawona and the Yosemite Lodge.Fact is, we much prefer it. Why? Because you're out of the crazy hustle and bustle that characterizes the park from late Spring to early fall. It's like a small... More

Spent one night at the Tenaya Lodge before going into Yosemite. The room is a little better than most hotels I've been in; nothing special. The overall facility is really nice, very modern, and appears very well maintained. We got the "romance" package and got chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate-drizzled grapes, a bottle of champagne, a "smores kit", and the bed was... More

We just stayed at the Lodge and had a fantastic time! They really do have it all. It's great for couples and families. They had Archery, Ice Skating, a Pool and so much more. I loved that it was 30 minutes from the entrance of the Park and 30 minutes from Oakhurst, the nearest town. So you could run into... More

We spent the weekend here, celebrating 3 family bbirthday and had an absolutely wonderful time. Rooms were very nice and close together per our request, food at Jackalope's (where we ate both nights) was great - lots of vegetarian options, had a great time ice skating/sitting by the bonfire, even the weather cooperated. There was one hiccup - the order... More

My wife and I took our 2 dogs and were treated very well. The pet friendly room was clean and the dogs loved the dog bed and treats. Easy access to take them outside and they had fun visiting with other families. Great hiking areas and places to turn the dogs loose to explore. Great location to entrance of Yosemite.

For Yosemite, this place was okay. The lodge itself was fairly nice but the check in desk seemed disorganized. There was a very long line when we checked in and it moved really slowly. The room itself was okay -- nothing to complain about but nothing spectacular either. My biggest complaint about this hotel is the food -- it was... More

Lots of things for kids to do. Captive audience for food and restaurants so prices were high but food was exceptional. Dog friendly. Guided tours and concierge services available. Service was good and all activities were well organized.

My husband and I stayed here as the 3rd hotel on our honeymoon road trip. The hotel is spotless, rooms spacious with beautiful bathrooms and free wifi! The restaurants were lovely and food was a little pricey but hey you're on holiday right! There is a swimming pool and hot tubs on site which is lovely to chill out in... More
