Tenaya Lodge is a great place to stay on a Yosemite trip. Wonderful to return there after a day of hiking in the Valley. Excellent amenities and service, welcoming lobby with really comfortable chairs and sofas. Good WiFi. Recommend staying at the lodge over the cabins.

Spent one night in a renovated room . Beautiful setting just outside Yosemite and close to mariposa sequoia groves . The breakfast buffet was excellent and outside on their patio . The room was large enough but the tub drained poorly and we had 6 inches of water after shower and the bathroom door didn't seal off completely . The... More

We stayed at the Tenaya Lodge in early June and were overall impressed with our stay. While the property is near one of the entrances to Yosemite, it's a good 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley along a narrow winding road. The bedrooms are comfortable with refrigerators and coffee machine although a microwave would be nice, as the "coffee bar"... More

The location couldn't be better, situated just outside the entrance to Yosemite Park. There is a lot to do at the hotel including walking, biking or horse riding along beautiful forest trails. We used it as a launch point for some amazing walking in Yosemite itself. The Lodge is a big place so lots of people but the upside is... More

This place is pricey, but totally worth it. We were just passing through and only spent one night. We were travel long with an elderly companion who could not walk long distances, so we took advantage of room service. We were very pleased with the quick service and pleasant staff. Food was top notch. Two of our party took advantage... More

We stayed for two nights in Tenaya Lodge during a tour of California. The reception staff were great and check in and out were both easy. Although the hotel was nice and clean we found it to be more suited to families than to couples. We ate in the Jacalope bar and although the food was okay it was very... More

I stayed in the cottages and it was nice to be a little walk away from the main building. Dinner at Embers was excellent and the service was wonderful. Even the children running around on the property didn't bother me because there was so much beauty surrounding me it was hard not to feel relaxed. I will definitely be back.

When choosing a hotel, the three most important things are location, location and location. Situated at the entrance to Yosemite Park, Tenaya Lodge scores full marks on this. I'd have loved to have given the lodge 5 stars, particularly given how excellent and friendly the service was, but there were a few disappointments. The pool is far too small for... More

We had a blast staying at the Tenaya Lodge. The location is close to Yosemite easy to find. The room was spacious and the people working there are extremely friendly and helpful. I loved the complimentary valet parking after a long day of hiking!

A very nice place. No qualms about the accommodations. Suggest having dinner in Oakhurst (20 minutes away) as is pricey at Tenaya and we didn't think was that good. Breakfast isn't cheap, but a far better value. We did not use the resort amenities, as our objective was to get out and see Yosemite this being our first time here.... More
