No No No No. That's one "no" for each of the supposed AAA diamonds this place is supposed to have. The only thing that approaches being satisfactory is the service and the staff. The accommodations aren't anything special. The grounds are very poorly maintained. The food at the casual grill is so so, passable but not special. The pizzeria food... More

Tenaya Lodge offers adequate accommodations and friendly staff. The Lodge is situated in a remote location and there are few dining options within the hotel compound. However, this is not a bad a place to stay for those who enjoy nature. More

This is a wonderful hotel located outside of Yosemite Park. Nice rooms, good restaurants, friendly staff. You will need to drive a bit to get to the park, but the scenery is just spectular. I was most impressed with the more elderly people who were at the park. Everyone who visits just loves their experience and this hotel has lots... More

We spent a week here while my husband attended a medical conference. Good thing we were rarely in our room because the noise of jack-hammers renovating the pool area would have been a nuisance. Unfortunately, the spa was under staffed. Consequently my friend and I were not able to fit in massage treatments. The wild sage and rose wrap was... More

Arrived at Tenaya Lodge thinking that it would be the perfect place to stay while we visited Yosemite. We thought the cost would assure that. We were three adults traveling and had reserved a suite with what we thought was one queen and one king. Upon arrival we were told yes, we had a suite but they were very busy... More

My friends and I are frequent travelers and self appointed foodies. We have stayed and dined at exquisite resorts all over the world. The is hotel is definitely not on my list for returning. The sounds of jack hammering and screaming babies made for early rising. Walls need more insulation. The house keeping staff must not be able to read,... More

We were on an organized tour that chose Tenaya Lodge as the accommodation for two days of touring Yosemite. While you are a few miles from the park entrance you are 20 or so miles from the Valley in the small town of Fish Camp. The drive to the valley takes an hour or more but is scenic most of... More

This hotel was worth the price. It was close to the park and it was really cozy, you really felt like you were at a nice get away but with all the comforts of home. The room was big and the bathroom space was really nice and we had alot of counter top space. I loved the corner chair in... More

My husband, brother, and I spent 3 nights at the Tenaya during our recent Yosemite excursion. The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for 3 of us- plenty of room and sufficient privacy. Sharing one bath not ideal but workable. The larger units seem to all be upstairs, which I prefer, and meant our balcony had a nice treetop feel to... More

Situated at the southern entrance to Yosemite, Tenaya scores very high marks on our books. Spent three glorious days and nights resting and relaxing at this well appointed lodge while exploring the majestic Yosemite. We stayed at their cottages nearby, a short walk from the main lodge and restaurants. The cottages, while a little outdated, have every modern convenience necessary,... More
