We stayed here for three nights. Wow! From the moment you arrive everything has been thought about. The rooms are beautiful, breakfasts are amazing as are the treats that are left for you. David took us out in his vintage car several times, nothing is too much trouble. David and Sheran are wonderful hosts, and do everything they can to... More

David and Sheran designed & furnished the lovely Tin Lizzie Inn from scratch and everything about the place shows you that it was a true labour of love. That spirit extends to the quality of their hospitality and top notch bakery treats made by Sheran. I can't really add to the other reports here, other than to say that even... More

The other reviewers are right about the hosts... I have never had more attentive or kinder hosts at a b&b. We are avid travelers, and were on our late summer California roadtrip with lots of miles to cover.. ..We selected the Tin Lizzie because of the location to Yosemite and reviews. We were originally booked in the the cottage room,... More

Virtually impossible to find fault. Beautiful place and owners who cannot do enough to please. Sumptuous breakfasts surrounded by wildlife, a location 2 miles outside the park, beautiful room and a quiet peaceful location under the stars at night. Highly recommended for Yosemite - the valley is an hours drive from here.

My wife and I stayed in the 'Carriage House' 8/ 18-21/ '14 and had the pleasure of experiencing the attention to detail the proprietors had put into its planning for making a guests stay the most pleasant possible. Renting the model A Ford to drive into Yosemite is a must! One more 'must' is to have Dave Woodworth teach you... More

Our family recently spent 3 nights at the Tin Lizzie Carriage House, using it as a basecamp for our Yosemite vacation (minutes from Mariposa Grove; around 30 minute drive to the valley as long as you get out early before the traffic builds). What a wonderful place - from the cookies and sparkling lemonade waiting for us on our arrival... More

My husband and I spent a portion of our honeymoon at Tin Lizzy Inn. Proprietors David and Sheran made this a memorable experience. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for romance in Yosemite. Not only was the our morning breakfast mouthwatering...our morning conversation with David was delightful and interesting. There's nothing like this in the Yosemite area, so if... More

This review is not about the Inn but is about the Ford Model A that you can rent from the proprietor. For many the opportunity to rent such a relic would seem frivolous or perhaps even outlandish. Do not decide against the Model A without giving serious consideration. In addition to being a genuinely kind and generous host, David gives... More

We loved this place and highly recommend it! We stayed in the Carriage House for 3 nights in July. We're pretty picky about where we stay, especially if we go with a B&B, and this place was just as advertised and as lovely as the pictures look online. We were visiting Yosemite with friends and enjoyed our time at the... More

We stayed here for two nights and I wish we would have stayed longer. The owners. David and Sherran are lovely and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in the cottage which was quaint and had everything you could possibly need. It is in a great location just outside Yosemite national park and within walking distance... More
