We stayed for one night while visiting Yosemite to be close enough to get to our all day tour the next day. Room was basic but nice. Matt, who leases out the restaurant, was very nice and we enjoyed our dinner there. I recommend the boneless pork chop. I had the bone in but the boneless was a better value.... More

There's a lot to like about this little lodge. It's old, has been well maintained, and has just been taken over by new owners. You can see the evidence of their work, fresh paint, newly sealed and striped asphalt, updated furnishings, new beds and linens. Part of the charm is it's rusticness, and if you like that type of place,... More

I expected basic but was still surprised by the size of the room. We had 3 adults and there was barely room for 2 suitcases. The complimentary breakfast was awkward. We were seated and handed a menu. When we told them we only wanted the complimentary breakfast, we were brought a packaged danish, a small muffin and a bowl of... More

I really didn't like this hotel. It was very well located, and it was clean, but that's about all. The walls were paper thin so my sleep was disturbed by other people in other rooms. Not to mention the American obsession with having car horns signal the remote locking and unlocking of their car doors. What's wrong with a simple... More

Great location for Yosemite . Clean quiet and peaceful . reasonable value for money. Onsite restaurant closed – even though this was in high season and with no prior notice that food wasn’t available. As it is only a couple of miles away from Yosemite , a ( VERY ) early visit to Mariposa Grove saw us as the only... More

The staff was friendly, the rooms as basic as they come. Breakfast included makes this place a little nicer than other overpriced places in the area. Location next to the south park entrance could not be beat.

We choose this place because it was close to the park entrance at what seemed to be a reasonable price compared to other places in the area. But even that rate was ridiculously high based on what we got for it. The room had a terrible smell - I think it was a plastic smell from the shower in the... More

We stayed for one night on a road trip. We stayed at around 15 different places across the Southern United states on our road trip and this was hands down the worst experience of our whole trip! (but actually ended up being a pretty funny night as we had to laugh at the whole experience!). Location near to entrance of... More

The location is great because it's really close to the park's south entrance. But everything else needs improvement. There's no AC which was what makes it unpleasant because we went on June 7, 2013 (Friday) and the temperature in our car was like 102 F. We wanted to take a nap that afternoon (after a heavy meal) before going back to... More
