Very well suited to the location. The hotel reception and staff were very helpful and polite. The bathrooms and decor were quite dated but again suited the environment. The meals in the restaurant were a little on the expensive side but were thoroughly delicious. The shower wasn't that great. Couldn't get any hot water but was instead was mildly warm... More

This was our second visit. The hotel sits right on the southern entrance to Yosemite and is next to the Sugar Pine steam railway (also well worth a visit). Great hospitality and a nice big corner room amongst the trees. Fantastic restaurant for evening meals. Definitely need to book but the food was delicious and the service first class. Our... More

This is a small property nestled in a wooded area within driving distance to Yosemite. The rooms are clean and have air/con and a balcony which was lovely as you could hear the birds singing every morning. Breakfast is included which was helpful for us as we have children. The staff were great, no complaints.

We did not stay at the Inn, but ate at their restaurant. It was wonderful. Everything we ordered was well prepared and tasted great. We chose to eat in the screened in porch and that was a treat in and of itself. Service was good. Drinks were continually being filled. Dessert was great also. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to... More

We were redirected to this hotel as the one I had originally booked had a problem and could not accomodate some of the bookings. We showed up at 10.30pm and were exhausted after a very long drive. Kitchen staff had already gone home and the bar was just closing up, but the bartender was so friendly to make us a... More

charming hotel with office shop house. room small of old fashion style with a small lovely balcony. Free wifi & parking. Breakfast included. Expensive for its value. Due to the rare choices of recommdations in Yosemite National Park. Bit far from the Park's interests. Honestly, our first choice was Wawona Hotel. (Recommanded by friend & for its golf & 100-year-history)

This is a lovely hotel, but don't buy that it is in Yosemite park, because it is at least an hour from any of the main attractions. It is a hotel on the edge of the woods and has a pool, restaurant and jacuzzi. It is a very relaxed kind of feel. The rooms are really comfortable and clean. We... More

If you want a great place with the the rustic flavor you must give them a try. I passed here twenty years ago and wanted to book it on our return anniversay trip. They made it very special. Very quite and Christine made it a special visit.

The ambiance is carefully created with beautiful gardens, wood decking, clean rooms, a relaxing swimming pool with a fountain, and a lodge-style free breakfast. The rosemary potatoes, sausages, and strawberry waffles are a real breakfast treat. You are right next door to the Sugar Pine Railroad and just a few miles from Yosemite Natl. Park. Great family spot or a... More

Ideal place to stay in Yosemite - far enough into the park, but not all the way. The Inn is a real treasure and we would stay there again ! Imagine the bedrooms rather like staying at an aged relatives house, untouched since the 1950s, but charming ! The restaurant is excellent and underrated, the location calm and peaceful. Right...
