I really found this place charming. Motel-like at first glance (side by side rooms with individual doors touching the parking lot), we were pleasantly surprised to find high ceilings, exposed beams and a deck that overlooked a beautiful piece of forest. It was Perfect for wine in a wooden rocking chair at sunset. Other adorable features included several trails wandering... More

My husband and I stayed here for a few days in Feb. while we were in Yosemite for a family wedding. This property is like stepping back into . . . a more quaint, rustic time with modern amenities. Our room was perfect in size, bathroom was nice, shower a bit small and we did have a bit of a... More

We opted to stay here whilst on a road trip around California, as a base from which to explore Yosemite. It's true you can stay closer to the valley, even in it if you opt for the Ahwahnee Hotel (which looked nice when we visited), but we wanted to be slightly outside. Worth sticking up at the supermarket in Oakhurst... More

Sweet little Inn. Rooms are old school, woodsy and appropriate for the venue. Beds are great and bathroom is homey Free breakfast with fresh Belgian waffles topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Very clean. Definitely a great choice. The price was great too off season.

This is the sweetest little secret inn tucked back in the woods. The 1920s atmosphere is so much fun, and the beds are cozy and warm. Breakfast the next morning was cooked and served in the dining hall, which is like a long-ago lodge for north-bound travelers. Plus, it's right on the edge of the park. Will return every time... We had an all too short two night stay at this great Inn. It is in a peaceful setting and is located about an hour and fifteen minutes from Yosemite Valley. We were greeted by a very nice lady in the lobby who was courteous in explaining everything about the Inn. Our room was rustic and clean, and also had... More

A lovely and quaint inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we also enjoyed using the swimming pool after a long day out exploring. The restaurant although a tad pricey at first glance did do a sunset special before 6pm when we stayed. We had a starter and a delicious steak for an incredibly reasonable price. The food was so... We stayed for 3 nights to enjoy the hiking in Yosemite. We had a decent sized room overlooking the back of the property so could see trees and bushes. Room was clean but rustic , shabby, furnishings definitely from the 70s but quaint. Nice having candy to take on a hike. Bed was a good size but way too soft... More

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Inn during a trip to Yosemite, which is a convenient 9 miles to Southgate. We pulled up at night, and were a bit nervous to see such an isolated place set up in mountains. Our nerves were quickly eased after entering the front office to feel a warm welcome to such a... I have to say that this is an awesome place to stay... the room my husband and I stayed in went far beyond our expectations in every aspect. The entire staff is very friendly and made us feel so welcome, and the courtesy and professionalism of all the staff is unlike any we have experienced in our travels. The room... More
