A very nice inn. We stayed one night in one of the lowest (in altitude) rooms and the view from the deck was spectacular. The room came with two double beds, while not our preferred arrangement, the beds were extremely comfortable. A continental breakfast was offered in the Dining Room. While it offered for the most part the common fare... More

I stayed 2 nights with my wife and 4 year old daughter. Bedrooms are cozy and spacious, nice shower, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Bedroom also have a patio outside, so you can see the stars or relax at night. I would stay there again.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and our 3 year old daughter. We stayed here to visit the amazing and beautiful Yosemite. We had a lovely time. The hotel looks like a cottage, totally in the nature, it's very relaxing. Our room was comfortable with a king size bed, the bathroom with a shower and, outside, a... More

We stayed here for one night and were very impressed by the friendliness/helpfulness of all the staff. Also the room was cosy and old fashioned with a patio area for sitting outside. We had a nice relaxing stay here and were lucky to have beautiful weather. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and professionally presented. Also the breakfast was... More

We stayed here only one night en route from Reno to Santa Barbara. Fish Camp, at an elevation of almost 5,000 feet, is just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. The Sugar pine and Yosemite Narrow Gauge Historic Railroad is also right near the inn. Our small room had a double bed and an attached bathroom with a... More

We were sorely disappointed with our stay. Room was small and dark, the set up of the kitchen amenities and luggage storage in the bathroom was weird to say the least (especially given the extraction fan didn't work), the synthetic fragrance pumped through the air cond gave me severe sinus problems, the soundproofing was non existent, so we were kept... Got in late and the room key was left for me to make getting settled in easy. The grounds were well kept and the porch and rocking chairs were a nice touch. Breakfast was good. I wish I had gotten in earlier to have dinner. Their hall looked interesting. I would stay here again.

A few things up front: we had 2 full size beds which was not ideal but I knew this going in. The shower in our room was tiny! There is not really privacy on our balcony but it was really beautiful. The Inn is Beautiful. Yes, the room we had was pretty small but we didn't stay in the room,... More

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely stay at the Narrow Gauge Inn. Nestled in the forest within a short drive from the south entrance to Yosemite, you have convenience without the tourist bustle in the Park. Accommodations attractive and comfortable. Views through the tall trees of the Sierra Nevada of distant hills. Lovely pool setting. Flowers... More

We paid £1,000 US Dollars for three nights, Thurs, Fri and Sat, in late July through Expedia. The hotel charges this because they can. I sought a hotel within Yosemite months earlier but this was the only on available - it is two miles outside the Park. However the room was very much like that you would experience in a... More
