Mercey is a historic property, so far away from civilization that I am almost afraid to review it, lest the madding crowd discover it. If you are expecting an upscale spa and resort, this isn't for you. However, if you want to listen to birds and the wind, and see a sky full of stars while soaking in hot water,... More

Their website looks a lot nicer then the spot. My boyfriends tried to surprise me with a hot springs mini vacation for valentine's and thought this would be the place. Once we got their we looked up the website cause it looked nothing like what he thought it would be. It is in the middle of no where, which normally... More

My wife and I spent two nights in one of the new airstream trailers last week. A very luxurious way to camp!! It is like having your own small suite in a hotel, with a kitchenette. The airstream was very comfortable and we cooked all of our meals there and of course slept in the comfortable queen size bed. We... More

The reasons to visit Mercey are many... a quick & close bay area weekend escape, a break in the monotonous travel up or down Interstate 5, a rockhounder's base camp, or a hiker or mountain biker's dream. The pools, soaking tubs, sauna and other facilities are in a constant state of growth & improvement by the new owners. Whether you... More

One of my favorite places to decompress - off the grid and relaxing. Recently got to experience the new Airstream accommodations on the property, and have to say this is the way to go - Mercey Deluxe! Brand new and so cool to explore all the little buttons, cabinets, bell sand whistles. Felt like staying in a space ship. Comfortable... More

Mercey Hot Springs is a charming little place. We visited it mid week and it was very quiet and so peaceful we didn’t leave until 1:00 pm next day. Between me and my wife, one observation was common, more time we spent there, more great details we discovered. Starting with our cabin which looked old outside but inside was remodeled,... More

Yes Quiet and Relaxing ! You have to like that kind of thing, or you could get bored, but we didn't. You must also like rustic, it is very rustic, and cute, Tiny rooms, and the other reviewers are right: you must bring Everything if you want to eat, We really enjoyed our quiet weekend there, the drive out there... Yes, this place is way off the beaten path and that is part of its charm...it used to be a healing center and does have a nice vibe in some respects...but there is a greed vibe from the owner that is a turn-off. ($2.00 for a tiny cup of coffee, $4.00 for a gallon of water...really?? For a $150.00 night... More

We stayed here for the first time and found it to be a gem. It is just off the beaten track (I-5), to feel like a real getaway. This place is NOT a polished resort, more like a half-step up from RV camping, but the hot spring baths and spas definitely make up for any "rustic" facilities. There are also... More

This is a real find for anybody who loves low key but comfortable relaxation in California backroads. I am only sorry that our family did not discover this place earlier. We came here on a weekend and spent one night camping with our pre-teen daughters. We used the pool a lot and spent some time in the outdoor hot tubs.... More
