On my last birthday, December 29, I told my family I wanted to visit the Victorian Inn in Ferndale. I had seen this hotel while I was on a short visit to the Redwoods during the summer and vowed I would return for a short stay. My husband, my son and I stayed in a unit that was perfect for... More

The Inn is an old building... it's very difficult to maintain a huge, aging place like this. That said, the owners do a terrific job of keeping the place clean and well maintained. The room we stayed in had areas in need of touch up paint, but other than that, the hotel is a wonder to behold. It's quiet, cozy,... More

Took a trip to see the Redwoods and couldn't find anything in Eureka, so Ferndale popped up and reviews about this Inn seemed pretty good. Quirky town with nice victorian's, if I went back it would be for only 1 night. We arrived and the woman at the front desk was in a hurry, we had brought our AAA 2014... More

These guests were the perfect guests and, as all guests do, deserved a much better greeting and experience with us. As one can see by looking at the other 302 reviews, most travelers and guests enjoy a much better stay. The person whoi greeted them and checked them in at the front desk, who was the same person who helped... More

The room was pleasant. The restaurant food was delicious. Although we didn't have time to do any sightseeing, there are alot of historic buildings on the street. It's a great location to explore the Redwoods from

The Victorian is a turn of the century inn located in Ferndale, CA. The hotel does have a historic charm about it. Service at check-in was great. Daryllyn (hope I spelled it correctly) was very friendly pointing several places in town to stop and see as well as our dining options. Dinner was just OK, not good enough for what... More

We stayed one night at Victorian Inn on our road trip up to Redwood National Park. The hotel is very nicely restored, the staff is lovely and polite, the room spacious and clean, and the breakfast quite good. We got a very cordial visit from the owner during our breakfast thanking us for selecting his inn to stay at, and... More

So antique.. Go back in time for a night and think of what it must have been to stay in a place like this. Amazing wood carving.. Very Quiet great breakfast.. Lovely jewelry store.. Enjoyed the bar. Beware of the long stairs upstairs! Very steep!

We spent 4 nights at the Victorian Inn while exploring the Redwoods areas. The Innkeepers and staff could not have been more welcoming. We were repeatedly impressed by the seamless operation of the Inn. It felt genuinely warm and inviting the entire time. We stayed in the Ira Russ Suite, which was lovely and very comfortable. The food was fabulous!... More

Totally unexpected, we were cut short in Ferndale CA with no alternative accommodation. The proprietor and his wife, welcomed us with open arms and offered us luxurious accommodation. Everything about the Victorian Inn is authentic and extremely well run. If you are travelling to Ferndale CA, I'd suggest considering the "Victorian Inn" for great accommodation, hospitality, good food and even... More

Victorian Inn is a lovely place to stay for a night when visiting Ferndale. The location is perfect for visiting the Ave Of The Giants, a 31 mile scenic drive on old Highway 101, through the Redwoods. When arriving late the Inn makes arrangements with you to get into your room with ease. Breakfast is included and was very good.... More
