We booked this online via email, the response and process was professional and easy. As we were coming from the UK we didn't know what to expect. We were delighted. The location is about 6miles from Santa Cruz. We walked to Felton about a mile away where we found a great dinner called Rockys and a fun place for dinner... More

We stayed here 4 nights, so much to do, between the quick drive to Santa Cruz Boardwalk, or 45 min drive to Monterey Bay Aquarium. The sites are a bit tight, but it seemed like a lot of family gatherings and reunions going on, which was perfect for them. Bathrooms and showers Very clean, would come back again.

We had the best time staying in this wonderful park. Spaces are a little tight, however, it was quiet at night. Very clean bathroom and free showers. View is amazing. Little hike down to the river, short drive into Santa Cruz. Towns close by if you need extra supplies. We will be staying here again for sure.

We stayed 2 nights here with family this weekend. The hosts were very friendly. Setting was beautiful in the redwoods, and very nicely kept. We had plenty of room between us and the neighbors not as close as many other campgrounds where we have stayed. The bathrooms very clean! Kids loved going in the river to cool off - getting... More

We were there camping, not in an RV. We were in a spot near the creek between the RVs and not the main camping area. The spots feel a bit small at first, especially when nestled between between massive RVs, but the location is pretty good over all. We were is space #30. The facilities were about what you'd expect.... More

A pleasant experience from start to finish. Renovations were completed the week we arrived. I found the restrooms to be clean, updated and plenty of hot water. The laundry facilities were convenient and the machines were very effective and economical. The park is well designed with river access in the redwoods of santa cruz, a half mile from henry cowell... Stayed here in a 17 foot conversion van, and were pleasantly surprised to not be the only van-campers in the park, for the first time since Florida. Not only was the staff kind, including the maintenance people we ran into, but this was the first park where you were close enough to become friends with fellow campers, but not too... More

We just recently spent two weeks within this campground. Pros; Campground is located within the Redwoods, close to Roaring Camp Railroad and Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Laundry room was clean (inside), building needs some work. Cable TV provided worked well. Cons; Wi-Fi constantly down. In fact, last weekend we only have Wi-Fi late Sunday night. Wi-Fi also seems to... More

The welcome was great from Haywood and the site allocated was fully serviced, clean and spacious for a 25 ft RV. Most sites are in amongst the big Redwood trees across the San Lorenzo river from Henry Cowell State Park about 1.2 miles out of Felton.it was very shaded and we rarely saw the sun which would possibly be an... Cheek to jowl camping at it's worst. We didn't come begging at the last minute. We made reservations several months in advance, paid for a standard site and expected an average sized space based on photos on the website. After checking in with our 18 ft trailer we nearly missed our assigned space because a picnic table occupied the tiny... More
