Stayed here (It was an Econo Lodge at the time, guess it's changed ownership) back in July '06 while on a two day trip from Seattle to LA, which was to include a quick stop at the Santa Cruz Mystery Spot. It's right off the freeway which is convenient and only a few exits away from the place where I... more

I tried, but couldn't bring myself to actually sleep there. I went there to check out the room before signing in. It's a good thing that I did this. The outside appearance of the place is really kind of cute, with yellow trim, and pretty flower beds and all. So I thought it might be kind of a nice place.... more

Management response from
CordeliaInnAndSuites, General Manager

I just wanted to respond to the posting made in Aug 2008. I don't know when this guest (Micetro) stayed at our location. I have a feeling it was before I ever took over the hotel which was in July 08. If there was any exposed piping there is not at this time. Unless the exposed piping they was talking...

I certainly didn't expect the Ritz when I booked here, but I wasn't prepared for what I experienced with the room I was given. It was the smallest motel room I've ever seen in my life. I measured the length and width the best I could and it was about 11x11 feet at the most, although the bathroom was a... more

I'm giving this a five star rating because for the price/location, you couldn't ask for more. the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating as we asked for a 'quiet' room. The double rooms upstairs were a little cramped (2 levels, one bed per level), but great for privacy. We switched to the Queen rooms downstairs, which were really two... more

We have stayed in about 15 hotels in 6 states the last two months. The people at Econo Lodge were the most helpful and nice. The rooms were real cozy. IT was by far the best hotel experience yet. more

Avoid this hotel at all costs. My significant other stayed here the weekend after July 4 since it was cheaper than the rooms in Napa. We arrived after a hard days' ride through Oregon hoping for a clean place to sleep. We were greeted by scary, seedy-looking people who seemed to live on the property, and a colony of feral cats.... more

Left after 2 nights. Long term residents were partying and being loud for hours. Asked desk clerk to quiet them down & after she let them know it was me who complained, they banged on my walls & shouted through my window. Desk clerk said it wasn't her problem & she would not contact the manager. Got a form letter... more

Pros & Cons Pros 1. Room was good for a cheap place to sleep. Cons 1. No room service 2. People are LIVING there - sitting with their doors open and drinking - can get loud - (fight broke out our first night) 3. No security - didn't feel safe - too many shady looking people lurking around Ok.... if... more

When I arrived at 9 PM, I had to wait an hour and a half to check in because my room was still not ready. I guess I was lucky to have a room at all, because the reservation I had made through the hotel's web site had been lost, as were reservations made by other guests. The room itself... more
